Fantastisk opphold

Vi har hatt et fantastisk opphold. Vi føler oss så ivaretatt på alle mulige måter. All inclusive anbefaler jeg på sterkeste her, maten og drikken her er fantastisk. Ps ikke stort utvalg av spisesteder i nær omkrets. Hvis man drar hit i juni, juli og august så er det vinter her på Mauritius. Det innebærer raskt vær skifte Av og til kommer det 20 sek med regn så er over, så er sola på igjen. Det er mye vind her når det er vinter. Men det er lett å finne ly på solsengene oppe ved bassenget. Det er ingen poeng å se på yr på hvordan vært blir. Grunnet det raske vær skifte. Vi tok turer på vestsiden av øya. Der er det mindre vind. Men vanskeligere å finne hotell der barn er lov.

Godt hotell med egen strand og flere resturanter

Gode strandstoler med mulighet for å bestille mat og drikke fra baren og få det levert på sengen. Flere resturanter på området både buffee og ala carte. En resturant/ snack bar som ikke hørte til hotellet. Ellers måtte en ta taxi til nærmeste sentrum. Generelt god mat, men uten det lille ekstra en gjerne forventer på ett slikt resort. Høy prisklasse på drikkevarer.

Vakkert sted med fantastisk service! Betjeneningen ved dette hotellet vet ikke hva godt de skal gjøre for at vi som gjester skal få en perfekt ferie. Anbefales på det varmeste! Anbefaler også å legge til <all inclusive>

Paradise

Et helt fantastisk hotell! En ting var fasilitetene som overgikk våre forventninger, men personalet var absolutt helt utrolige! Fantastiske mennesker som gjorde alt for at vi skulle få en fantastisk uke! Jonathan i resepsjonen og Vishal og Innesh i baren var helt utrolige, bare for å nevne noen.

Mixed feelings

This is our second visit at the hotel (and the second review I write) and this time we have some mixed feelings. We chose to return to this hotel for an anniversary and because the first experience was very close to our hearts. This time, however, we didn't experience the same genuine atmosphere. I don't feel like keeping the clients is important in the hotel's policy and unlike the first time, when they went above and beyond for us, they strictly did their job. For example, we were offered a very expensive taxi service when we wanted to go on a trip, denied a late check-out (not even until 2 pm with a late night departure) and didn't really check our meal plan when discussing related matters. I can not blame them for any of this, but we were used to discussing what works for us too, rather than just being presented the options and answering with yes or no. All in all, we felt like the staff at the reception was rather inflexible. Now for the good parts - this year the food was better, and I'd like to give kudos for the Chinese New Year buffet, which was very good. I would suggest providing more western options on Indian nights for the people with dietary restrictions regarding spicy food. The desserts were delicious every time. There are also more fruits then last year. The sea was actually better this year and we swam there quite a few times. The swimming platform is the absolute highlight of this hotel, unfortunately winds were too strong most of the days during our stay. Fortunately, there were other water sports available. The pools were full of guests who didn't shower before entering (the pool showers weren't always working) but that's an universal thing. The resort felt much more lively this year with bands performing new songs every other day. We also loved the swing. The room we had was a very nice garden room with a sea view, very close to the pool and the beach. Housekeeping was attentive to our needs and wishes. The restaurant staff made us feel at home, especially Ramesh and Vinod. Dev's smile was also really contagious :) We also enjoyed Blu Passport, which is a very nice and unique feature. They still offered a lounge instead of the late check out, but, unlike 2023, no one came to clean it in 7 hours, even if multiple families used the sofa and the showers. With all the great parts this hotel has, it's hard to explain why the first time was perfect but the second time was only sufficient. While I feel a strong connection with Mauritius and Azuri, it's heartbreaking to feel like it's not "my place" anymore as I was looking forward to returning every year and recommending the hotel to friends and family. I don't know if I'll be returning for a third time, but I would sure love to know that the hotel returns to the authenticity and warmth of last year.
