Fint, rent, hyggelige ansatte
Fin ferie i Parga.
Et meget bra hotell, Spa avdelingen var en ren nytelse. Høy service på alle nivå!!!!!
Beautiful holiday great location and hotel through James Villas.
We booked our 2022 holiday through James Villas, staying at the Regina Villa Salvator hotel. Here are my thoughts: 1. Booking process through James Villas - seamless, brilliant, easy! 2. Cost - expensive but you get what you pay for, we also hired a car (do this whilst not essential it allows you to visit beautiful sites) like the 300 bc amphitheatre at Dodoni (I will attach pics) 3. The Villa - lovely Villa, clean and well maintained, the pool was lovely too and a welcome break from the July heat, the villa has Aircon which works very well. One issue is the wifi whilst it works (sometimes) it’s hit and miss and with the fact we are now not part of the European Union; watch your usage. I had a little moan about the Wifi and it was kind of rectified, I can hear you all saying “you don’t go on holiday to use your phone” and your absolutely right….but all my books were online and not downloaded and the ladies European football was on so actually wifi was needed. Don’t take your firesticks the bandwidth is not good enough! 4. The hotel - the villa is situated as part of a spa complex. The hotel is nice and the staff are amazing and very attentive. 5. Food - A. Breakfast - it’s ok but in that strange Greek way we’re sometimes you wonder…..Why!?! B. Lunch - normal Greek cuisine, Greek salads etc etc. C. Dinner - more of an Italian feel with a Greek twist about it but it’s ok. 6. Location - for me perfect. Just far enough out of the town 2km’s but close enough to walk or use the shuttle bus provided. 7. Parga town - amazing everything you would ever need…….beech, loads of tavernas and shops etc. however it’s the most expensive we have seen Greece in all the years we have been coming. I think that’s to do with Covid. When I say expensive an example would be most cocktails are between €10 and €14 each. We found the blue bar in Parga was our favourite. 8. **What’s to do locally - You must must must visit the Acheron springs an amazing day out walking up a clear water spring river with rafting and zip lines etc. Be aware though the water is cold like very cold compared to the outside temp of the air, but once your used to it it’s amazing…..please go! 8. Lichnos beach is another place to go but you will need your car or a taxi and you must get there early as parking is ridiculous. All in all an amazing time in Parga Greece and lovely stay at the Salvator Hotel. Would we come back…..absolutely we are planning for September!
Brilliant staff and lovely hotel
All the staff at this hotel are amazing. Friendly, helpful and they take a real interest in you. It would be wrong to single anyone out but anyone staying will have their favourite. The pool is wonderful. Big enough so you can actually swim as well as just relax and cool down. The room was big and airy and very comfortable. The bar is wonderful with great cocktails brilliantly made. Breakfast is good but could be better with a bit more fresh fruit. A couple of downsides. I would recommend the restaurant for lunch but not dinner. The pasta, salads etc are great but the ‘main’ courses are only average. Also you need to be prepared for a lot of traffic noise especially when sitting on your own balcony. Overall though this is a lovely hotel with wonderful staff.
We have visited Parga 16 times And this is our first time at Salvator and wow wow wow what a place and an experience. From Our welcome to every day and how helpful and friendly the team are . Nonny is so caring and attentive and Annika the best house keeper and Delias the best barman. Salvator is spotlessly clean, has amazing staff and the best experience- just wow ! Thanks guys
