cheap considering its location

i have stayed a couple of times and i have also recommended this hotel to another family. What is good about this hotel is that it is a walking distance from two beaches, you do not have to cross the street to arrive to the beach. however, the price is low when you consider how close to the beach is. the rooms are nice and there is a small swimming pool at the centre. the food is okay but do not espect anything upscale.

This hotel is now called "Pinelope Beach Hotel Apts"

This is a 3-star hotel. There are one-bedroom two-storey apartments and one-storey studio-rooms. Part of the studio-rooms have a sea-view (honesly, the sea and the parking-view). Inland-view means the view to the pool and other rooms which is nice. Both types of rooms are equiped with small kitchenette. In one-bedroom apartment there's a living room with 2 sofas and kitchenette on the first floor and the bed-room and bathroom on the second floor. From both rooms there's an acess to the pool or to the balcoony. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is big. The main problem of the rooms is the lack of fresh air. The air conditioner works only with the door-key set in the special hole. And one of them on the first floor requires extra-payment, as the fridge. There are no beach towels in the hotel, but it's not a problem to buy them in supermarkets (4.95-5.95 euro each). The internet access is expensive - 30 euros for 7 days for each devise. Cleaning and changing of towels and bed-sheets is not scheduled, during our stay I couldn't figure out the system. But the towels have been changed 3 times in 7 days of our stay. Breakfast and dinner are served in the restaurant. In the evening there's a choise of 2 types of meat, fish or chicken, mousaka or pasta, rice, baked potatopes, soup and boiled vegetables, 4 types of salad, melon and aples or grapes. Thus you can always choose something. The problem of total absence of good fruits seems to be crucial not only for this hotel. It's hard to find good fruits in the supermarket and even in LIDDL store in the center of Protaras. The bech and the sea in Protaras are beautiful! I recommend going to Blue Bay beach (to the right from the hotel, opposite to Captain Pier hotel). The price of 1 sunbed/ umbrella is 2,5 euro. The residents of the Hotel are 99% Russian (maybe at this specipic period of time - the end of September), most of the are with children. And the beach is full of babies too:) but all of them leave at about 12 a.m. I can recommend Pinelope beach hotel (ex. Farkonia beach hotel) for those who seek for not expensive holidays in perfect location.

Nery nice choice

Coming to farkonia (Pinelopi Hotel as well) this summer will find something else. Fully renovated hotel with comfortable - luxury rooms and friendly staff. Available wi-fi, pool-bar, restaurant and kiosk on the waves. It's very nice.

If your looking for cheap.....

If your looking for cheap and cheerful, your probably just get cheap! The appartment was not easy sign posted and quite hard to find in the dark. The rooms very very basic, but very clean. No microwave, only tow rings, a kettle and saucepan for cooking. Utensals were clean but not many. Paid for air con as 33degrees. Never went near the swimmingpool, as saw the guy emptying a large bucket of wight powder in ! disovle your cossy in a second. Staff smile bypass! also really concerned about large terapins in dirty small tank IFAW informed.You get what you pay for, Protaros, and Pernera centre not for those seeking peace and quiet, but beaches and coves beautiful. Was one of three on one beach wonderful! People on whole friendly would I go to cyprus again... probably but for late sun .
