Very good experience, lovely people and was very sad to leave wished we'd gone for longerer than a week.

We took a weeks break at the Avaton Hotel Skiathos in May and from the moment we got off the mini bus the staff welcomed us with open arms. The hotel is on the smaller side than we usually do, and our room was facing the pool on the ground floor. Although rooms are not overly big they are still nice, clean and adequate and the bed very large. The staff were very helpful and friendly and everything was very convenient We went half board and the food in the evening was three courses and large portions but was delicious It wasn't overly busy with people when we arrived and they were mostly English, but everyone was super friendly. It felt like a nice community. Skiathos as a town is so pretty with lovely shops, bars and restaurants which was only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We booked the Mamma Mia trip to Skopelos where some parts of Mamma Mia were filmed and enjoyed the trip which we booked through the hotel only 40 euros each for a whole day. The pool is on the colder side but once you get in and swim around its fine. If I was to find a negative about the Avaton it would be the shower which kept going hot and cold. The problem is when it went hot it was very hot so we had to be careful. Also, sometimes there would be a quick power cut and the shower then became dangerously scorching hot. Would love to go back the whole place was beautiful.

An unforgettable holiday made special by the Hotel staff

From the moment I stepped in to the idyllic gardens I knew this was a special place. The team are second to none. Thanks to Vivi, Theodosis (Tres), Thanos, Andreas,Agni , Georgia and Sterias. I arrived fairly early but they made sure my room was ready and in fact upgraded me!. The pool area is so relaxing, the restaurant is rated in the top 5 on all of Skiathos and is well deserved. The food didnt let me down each night (why go elsewhere when you are spoilt on your door step). On the last morning I shed a tear as I left which shows how much an impression this place had on me. Thanks guys for the memories. I hope to be back.

Fabulous place, highly recommended

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location for a 10 minute walk to Skiathos town. All areas are immaculately clean, rooms cleaned every day and towels changed. We stayed in a pool view room (209). The rooms are quite small but perfectly good for how long you spend in there, beds are big and comfortable. The pool area is lovely and the bean bags around the garden are really comfy. Breakfast is great, lots of choices and hot food is hot! The staff cannot do enough for you, very friendly and helpful. Overall I would rate it 5 stars, could not fault it at all and I am usually very underwhelmed! Can’t wait to visit again 😍

Great location for town and buses

Great location for access to town and buses. Within 10 min walk to town and easy access to bus stop 5. The rooms are cleaned daily and the breakfast has a great choice. The pool Is small but adequate when returning from a day on the beach. Will be returning

Memorable Stay in Skiathos.

We visited Skiathos Avton Hotel in September 2022. The hotel’s location is just perfect, 10-15 min walking distance from Skiathos town and 5 minutes to Megali Ammos beach. Great rooms, with private furnished balcony. The dinner in hotel’s restaurant, Black Pepper, was fabulous! Extra kudos to all staff for their services and making our holidays unforgettable.
