Lovely resort but....

It is a eautifully kept resort, with tasty food both for the breskfast buffet and in the stylish cafe. What marred our honeymoon stay were the saloon style doors to the toilet/shower meaning reduced privacy. The doors should be full length.

Charming location and resort

My husband and I stayed at Eden Beach for our honeymoon in a Deluxe Pool View room. We really loved the design and ambience of the resort - peaceful and coastal bohemian styling. The pool and dining areas were beautiful and peaceful. Loved the koi pond! Staff were friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our airconditioning and Netflix and they were very prompt in fixing them. Everything was immaculate and clean so absolutely no complaints there. Our room was roomy enough, styled beautifully and had a comfortable bed. My one comment would be that the door to the shower and toilet did not provide much privacy! The beach access is wonderful. Just in front of the beautiful pool and you can walk the stretch of the beach to other restaurants and explore. The pool was lovely and we spent many an hour at the pool sipping drinks and sunning ourselves. Breakfast was good and they offered a good range of food: European and Thai. It was not as large a spread as other hotels we had been to but that is to be expected for the size of the resort. For the last night of our stay we enjoyed their Thai Night with authentic local food and Thai dancing and singing overlooking a stunning sunset near the beach. This was a lovely end to our stay at Eden Beach and much appreciated. In terms of facilities my husband enjoyed the gym although he was disappointed that two out of six of the machines were out of order for all of the week long trip. In terms of getting around the resort, there were quite a few stairs everywhere - sometimes the stairs were hard to see and appeared unexpectedly. I never tripped but I can imagine that someone with limited mobility or poor eyesight may have a fair bit of difficulty getting around the resort. Overall we loved our stay at Eden Beach and would return as it was a lovely relaxing and charming resort but I think we will try to pick a suite or pool villa room so that it’s closer to the pool and main areas.

Beautiful beach resort

Grounds here are beautiful, right onto beach and there is an excellent pool. The rooms are in corridors which can be very confusing as they all look exactly the same.The rooms themselves are well appointed and clean. Allocation of rooms seemed bizarre however, as some of our group had much nicer rooms than others despite us all paying the same to our travel company. Staff in reception were moody and unhelpful but the staff in the dining room and restaurants could not have been more pleasant and eager to help. Special diets were catered for without fuss, and nothing was too much trouble.

Relaxing and great service

Beautiful setting and beach is quiet and scenic. This is a quiet hotel in evenings but nice and peaceful. Good quality breakfast lots of choice. Great service. There are nearby shops and restaurants. Livelier bars restaurants are a taxi ride away. Lots of excursion tours nearby.
