Fantastic in every way

The most amazing views. Food is varied and to die for and cocktails are perfection. The room is extremely comfortable with…more amazing views. Complimentary shuttles to and from ferry are very appreciated. Spa and fitness center plus multiple pools just make this hotel the perfect destination.

5 Star Experience in Every Way

Having stayed at the Myconian Kyma last year, I was excited to try the Korali and I was not disappointed! From start to finish the Korali offer a five star experience. The complimentary luxury transfer to and from either the port or airport are reliable and comfortable. The hotel is situated an approximate 10-15 minute walk into the fabulous Mykonos Town and Little Venice which was perfect for us. Yes, there are no pavements and traffic is very busy so you need to be careful and the walk back is all uphill but we didn't mind this at all as there's so many great bars and restaurants in the town. We even walked into Ornos one night for a meal which was about 25-30 minutes away so in our opinion the hotel has an ideal location. We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was fantastic. A large choice of hot or cold food, champagne and a choice of coffees. The restaurant also has a gorgeous view. The pool area was immaculately clean and there were always plenty of sunbeds and cabanas with a DJ playing from 12pm every day which created a great atmosphere. The bar staff round the pool were amazing, always on hand checking your every need, a special mention to Macho who worked tirelessly. Every single one of the staff at the hotel were 100% helpful, polite and genuinely happy to help and welcome you. A special thank you also for the complimentary wine and Turkish delight we received for our Silver Wedding Anniversary celebration. I hope to come back to the Korali very soon!

Excellent Hotel walking distance to Mykonos Town

This hotel differentiates itself based on service. We stayed in suite facing the ocean with our 14 year old daughter who slept on a comfortable sofa bed. The service began from the moment we wdere collected at the airport. The welcome and check in is terrific. We particularly like the pool area which offers an excellent DJ from midday every day. The food is of very high standard, but it is the staff that make this hotel. Marchos and Ivan by the pool, Martha at breakfast, the 2 Giorgios to name a few. The Myconian group of hotels welcome guests at their other properties around the island, giving you a base to visit beaches. The room was nicely designed and well appointed. The walk to town is easy, although the road is busy at night. There is a mini mart nearby and the bus system to beaches is within an easy walk. The views from the hotel are fantastic, making the location even more apppealing.

Beyond our expectations

This hotel is a must if you are visiting Mykonos. The amenities, rooms, and staff are just superb! Amazing drinks, delicious food, and excellent service. Agapi assisted us with all of our needs: car rental, dinner reservations, etc.; she is wonderful!! Highly recommended!

Sprawling property with 3 hotels connected to each other!

CHECK-IN: The check-in process was smooth as we were seated in two comfortable chairs, given water, etc. It is a very minor point, but there was a bit more paperwork than we were used to compared to other 5-star properties in Greece. CONCIERGE: This is one of the reasons why we rated this property 4-stars and not 5-stars. Compared to other 5-star properties, their concierge desk was very slow and unresponsive. Prior to my arrival, my travel agent contacted them multiple times without a response and it was to the point where I was even thinking of switching hotels as I did not see it as a good sign but my agent assured me that his other clients had positive experiences this past spring 2022. When I arrived on property, I was appreciative of the work that Jenny did for me and my wife to help us with some last-minute bookings, requests, etc. FRONT DESK: Special thanks to Michaelis (Michael) who was very attentive and friendly to us throughout our stay. WATER: This is another reason why this property is 4-stars and not 5-stars. As other reviews correctly note, the hotel does not provide water bottles in the room. The front desk will provide one or two small bottles to you, upon your request, but given the rates this hotel is charging and their luxury status, they should be providing large bottles of water to remove this hassle factor from the guest experience. ROOM: We booked a junior suite, and we were told we had one of the best rooms on the property. The size of the room was excellent, the bed was comfortable, etc. but it was quite odd that the sink and the shower were literally spilling into our living area. For example, there is no “door” separating the sink, or the shower, from the bed that is only a few feet away. Unlike all other 5-star properties we have stayed in where the bathroom is self-contained, this is not. Thankfully the toilet was not in the middle of the room like the sink was! BREAKFAST: Breakfast was included in our room type (not sure for others), but we found it to be very basic and underwhelming. For example, there was no “station” where a chef would prepare custom-made egg orders (e.g., omlette) or a station where pancakes/waffles could be freshly made. Instead, there is a large buffet and the items were nothing memorable. During our 3-night stay, we only went here once. ROOM SERVICE: We typically don’t do very much room service, but we ended up doing it a couple of times and were impressed. When we arrived, we ordered lunch and it came in 10 minutes. On our last day, we ordered the continental breakfast and were AMAZED at how much food was provided. GETTING AROUND PROPERTY: This is a very large property with 2 sister hotels attached to the Korali. As a result, it is at least a 5-minute walk to the street entrance. There are golf carts to take you to one of the sister hotels, but it would have been a very nice touch if they can increase the golf cart “service” by taking you to the street entrance for entering/exiting. There is a security guard who interrogated every taxi drop-off so I suppose this person could help coordinate this process. But generally the entrances are extremely crammed to all 3 hotels and in many instances we saw cars having to “tetris” their way in, or having to reverse out. We don’t fault the hotel as much though since this seems to be a common problem in almost every place we visited in Mykonos. TAXIS: Getting around Mykonos is not easy. There is no sidewalk or walking path so you are literally dodging traffic (cars, ATVs, motorcycles, etc) while walking on the very busy roads. The hotel does offer a taxi service, but it is very, very expensive. We were lucky to use 2 taxi services recommended to us by a local guide, and both we could coordinate via WhatsApp which made the pickups/dropoffs very easy. For example, we overheard one guest quoted 55 EUR to go to Scorpios, whereas we paid only 25 EUR through a service we used. SISTER HOTELS: This is a big plus of staying at the Korali. You get full access to the other 2 hotels, and one of the nights we ate at Noa (at one of the sister hotels), which is one of the top restaurants (try to book this in advance) in Mykonos. POOL: We didn’t have time to really spend time in the pool area, but it is impressive and we were told that getting the daybeds are pretty easy. If we had more time in Mykonos, we probably would have spent a half day here just chilling out and enjoying the amazing view here from the pool. ONE THING TO NOTE: This hotel is NOT on a beach, nor located near a beach. We were told by our agent that there are pluses and minuses (like everything in life). Our understanding is that there are very few 5-star properties on the beach, and the ones that actually are on the beach are overpriced. It is also quieter since you’re not near a beach club, etc. The plus here is that the location of the Korali is excellent. You are a 10 minute walk from the center of the town, and a 10-minute drive to a massive number of restaurants, and the most popular beach clubs like Scorpios (we recommend only for a meal) or Hippie Fish (we recommend Hippie Fish, particularly for spending the day on te beach).
