Everything was beyond expectations. Rooms were clean and all of the staff was very friendly. Food was amazing, especially on “grill night” when they had home made gyros. Also the view from the hotel is amazing. We definitelly recomend this hotel.
Well my holiday to Egypt was cancelled due to TC but we finally managed to get a holiday to Samos Greece. Personally never heard of the place but what a little treasure it is. Arion Hotel is lovely. All hotel apartment blocks are painted pastel colours and very pretty. The gardens are beautiful and very well kept, with fantastic sea views from most parts of the hotel. The restaurant and food was superb for breakfast and dinner. Food at the pool bar where we had lunch twice was good too. The pool was nice it's a shame it wasnt heated cos only went in once cos was so cold. The sea was warmer for sure. Unfortunately we went to use spa in hotel but it didn't work and was only big enough for one person 2 at a push, but sauna was fine. The beach is around 10 mins walk but down a steep set of steps via the hillside, may need to grab transfer minibus back if u dont want to climb hill on way back. We was in the area when alot of the restaurants and shops had started to close for the season but it was still lovely to go sit in restaurants having drinks etc enjoying the quiet atmosphere. We had a few days sitting on the beach outside a lovely greek restaurant called Hello Hello. The family were great and so friendly and food was fantastic. Another great tearoom was Grandma's Home and this place was just perfect and so very pretty with attention to detail and very polite staff. The cake was to die for. The views from anywhere on this island are breathtakingly beautiful can definitely say that. Had a trip into Samos town and also a trip to kalavassi so worth a visit if u want to explore a little bit.
We just came back from our family holiday. Stayed in Arion and we're more then satisfied! Kind and friendly staff, every day cleaning room, changing towels, and the lanen every second day. We got yellow bungalow with lovely ground terace, where are kids(6,2) running and having place for playing. View... taking breath away... Amazing! Pool area good as well. There are bar if you want something. Toalets, shower tube, change room .. Food is excellent, everything is fresh and tasty. Hotel has shortway to Kokkary,by foot you need 7 minutes to get to center of village. Shuttle bus is going to the beach on schedule time and turns back (you have on reception)! We really enjoyed our stay! Greetings for everyone especially Emanuel from restaurant and his team! Family Pudar
Fascinating stay at Arion Hotel!
My wife, our four year daughter and me spent unforgettable 11 days in Arion Hotel, this June/July. Probably, it is the best place to be accommodated in, while in Samos. Its great advantages are: walking distance from the awesome beaches (Lemonakia and Tsamadou), hospitality and helpfulness of the hotel staff, meticulously maintained hotel compound (full of palm and olive trees, with grass soft as the most delicate oriental carpet, and enormous bougainvilleas and roses...), cleanness of rooms, quiet nights, decent guests, delicious, diverse and abundant food (both for breakfast and dinner), frequent and not overcrowded shuttle bus towards/from the beaches (with the exceptionally careful driver Panagiotis)... If you have a luck to get a bungalow or room at the main building with sea view that's perfect (breathtaking view towards village Kokkari). However, if you do not get sea view room (as we had not got it), do not be disappointed, because the calmness of the place and exposure to that breathtaking view from the dinning terrace will compensate the lack the of first-thing-in-the-morning-view-on-the-sea. Very often we felt like being in a Zen garden. Walking in the evening, barefoot over the grass, was an unparalleled experience. Moreover, the climate there is also extraordinary: it is hot, but all the time you feel a dry summer breeze. There is no sweating. We did not use air-condition for a single moment. Before we went to Samos, we were concerned about the distances from Arion. In fact, Kokkari village and Lemonaki/Tsamadou beaches are very reachable, without much effort. I would like to mention kindness and professionalism of two magnificent ladies: Natalia and Litzza, reception mangers. Besides them, I would also like to point to a professional approach by Emiliano, the manager of the dining area, who skilfully coordinated a cohort of young serving gentlemen, during breakfasts and dinners. We keep the recent stay at Arion, in our most tender memory and will certainly come back!
The staff was friendly and the cleaning was on top. Although we had a very nice time. Nice to pay on the room, but we would, have liked a more detailed check, when we were checking out. The buffet I the morning was great, the bread was dry, but still tasted good. In the afternoon the buffet was delicious, and you were very good to have different meals every day. The last day of spending time at your hotel, the kids pool was very, very dirty. It is a bummer, you could have done better, there was plastic, dead insect and other things in the kids pool. All other days we were at your hotel both pools were clean and attractive. If we some day are going back to Samos, we would like to stay at your hotel again. We would also like to see the rest of the world Thank you for a lovely time
