Komfortabelt, rent og romslig. Utmerket sted

Et godt sted å bo selv om det er et godt stykke fra sentrum eller West Bay forretningsområde. Rommet (en executive-suite) var veldig romslig og pent innredet, med flott bad, omkledningsrom og stor stue egnet for møter eller presentasjoner. Restauranten var veldig bra, og Admiralis er en fin bar hvor lokalbefolkningen og gjestene samles for kveldsmoro. Ikke billig, men bedre enn den trendier 'W'.

The proper 5-star experience

I really enjoy the Ritz experience at Doha and it really started before my trip began when the concierge emailed me to check on my flight info and see if I need any transportation arrangement. I ended up asking if they can have a car to pick me up from the airport because the first time entering Qatar is a bit scary to a solo foreigner not knowing enough cultural norms in the area. As I was exiting the immigration into the terminal, I saw two people holding up sign of my name and quickly walked me to a black car. The greeter was very kind and took my baggage into the car. And the driver was also very professional. The ride was about 20-30 mins, and only cost 140 QAR (about 38 USD). I did, however, learn that Uber was pretty popular in Doha and would save you a few extra bucks as you transit multiple times during the day The check-in process was also very smooth and personal. Instead of completing the process on the counter, there was a girl assigned to lead me straight to the room, introduced me all the amenities and completed all the check-in at my room. There was a handwritten card and a big plate of chocolate to welcome my arrival. I, of course, felt very spoiled. These little personal gestures really defined the five-star experience at the Ritz The room itself is impeccable, as you can see from the pictures. The bathroom was such a great size. And it came with a small terrace. I had a good relaxation after a long flight and never looked back I also used the fitness facilities and took advantage of a spa promotion for a facial. The fitness center was very spacious with plenty of equipment, the spa was also fantastic The slight drawback, if I must say, is the distance between the hotel and the popular attractions. You must take a 15-20 mins ride to the city center. And due to the timing of season I was there (late May), with Ramadan being observed (No food available during the day until sunset), I had to strategize my schedule to visit sites in the morning and evening, with most of the afternoon staying back at the hotel. I did get to try the breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Service was so good, even though it was a buffet style, the server kept bringing me different drinks like juice, smoothies... and the chef came by and asked if I wanted an omelet. And because of Ramadan, there was almost no one there but me and maybe two, three more tables, yet you were still given so many options. Just great! Overall I had a wonderful time at the Ritz and I would definitely go back again

Very good

I was there for my 47 birthday. Beautiful hotel, felt very safe. Rooms were spacious. I had access to the club level, which was very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Spa was also very good. Would stay there again.

Steak house

Thanks to the ambassador from Georgia who made it special for me. While serving us our dinner, he paid attention to the fact that my friend and I was talking about her birthday which was that night, and planning for the day after. At midnight the whole team came to us with a happy birthday piece of cake, singing and treating us very well. Thanks to Steak house ❤️ and especially that person from Georgia

Exceeded expectations

We have just returned from a 6 night stay at The Ritz-Carlton having had a really positive experience that exceeded our expectations. With access to the Club Lounge, this facility was very much a focus for our stay and it did not disappoint. The service from the staff was friendly and professional while the provision of food and beverages was generous and of high quality. When in the lounge, we felt very welcome and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Another team who must be commended are those working around both pool areas, we fully appreciated their hard work; while always accompanied with a smile. At the RC nothing seemed too much trouble and we left with a feeling that our money had been very well and wisely spent. For fear of missing someone out, we won’t publish a list of thanks, but instead a HUGE thank you to all those who we met during our stay at The Ritz-Carlton – we’d be very happy to see you again!
