God mat og godt utvalg i buffeen. Gøy for unger i Vannparken. Fint med flere små bassenger rundt husene. Lett å få solsenger.

Kunne fint hatt mer selvbetjening når det kommer til All inclusive. Det burde kunne vært mulig å hentet drikke/is o.l selv. Dårlig utvalg av mat. De hadde kun toast i den ene poolbaren ved hovedbassenget, og den var supertørr. "Brus", "øl" smakte helt forferdelig. Vin var ikke mulig å få i Vannparken, men her hadde de dog større utvalg av snacks. Bassenget og området rundt vannparken var helt forferdelig møkkete. Tror aldri det ble vasket eller renset. Den samme møkka og søppelet lå der hele uka. Vannet var så grått at man knapt kunne se sine egne ben. Masse rusk i bassenget. Bordene ved solsengene var grisete, og ofte med gammel søppel fra dagen før. Bassengene rundt husene var noe bedre. Når det gjelder rommene var de store, men veldig slitt. Ikke spesielt rene heller, i hvert fall ikke badet. Mulig det så møkkete ut pga slitasje. Mellom rommene var det så lytt at man kunne høre en tlf på lydløs lå å vibrerte, eller at en kleshenger ble hengt inn i skapet. Mye bråk fra aircondition i tillegg. Rommet måtte også sprayes for maur da det var en hel koloni inne på rommet. Stor sprekk under døra og ut, så lett for all slags kryp å komme inn. Hørte om flere som hadde hatt kakerlakker inne på rommet også.

Mange badeområdet gav opplevelsen av fos plass som ikke var overfylt.

Wifi’en må gjøres noe med. Den er elendig på hele hotellet. Også Apollos representant hadde store problemer ved booking av tur og det tok lang tid å få gjort bestilling. Flere store bord/mer spiseplass i restauranten. Det ble Noe trangt ved spiseområdet for oss med store familier. Vanskelig å sitte oppe og hente mage. Nede når du har barn som skal gå langt med mat og drikke uten å søle på veien..

Fine basseng og ryddig. God service på rommene. Hotellet så veldig fint ut.

Savnet gresk mat i bufeen. Mye av maten smakte det samme. Personalet i kiosken var veldig sur. Dårlig system for buss til stranden da det var lite system og man var heldig om man kom seg på pga dårlig køsystem. Måtte vente i 40 minutter (3 busser) selv om vi var der til den første bussen. Airconditionen fungerte dårlig, de måtte reparere men fungerte ikke optimalt og skrudde seg av om natten. Internett på hotellet var svært dårlig, nesten ikke eksisterende. Vi hadde familietrom for 5. Selve rommene var store, men stuen var kjempe liten.

De mange pools hvis de ellers var rengjorte

Rengøre pools. Serverer varm mad. Ikke det samme mad i 7 dage. Jernsplint i maden Få styr på at folk kan få lov at spise og nyde deres ferie med familien. Få noget personale der vil lytte istedet for at bortfalder.

Ved spisning både morgen middag og aften skulle det nok være mere tid vi oplevede at når man havde hentet mad og skulle hente drikkevare var maden taget af bordet når man kom tilbage, tjenerene var meget stresset. og man kunne ikke side og nyde maden, man følte at vi skulle skynde sig for der var for lidt plads til alle dem som skulle igennem. Ellers var maden god.

Har tapt seg kraftig

Har vært her tidligere,3 år siden,og da var vi meget fornøyd,men hotellet har tydeligvis gjort en del endringer på de siste 3 årene,og det til det negative. Nå var det mange ting som kunne vært kraftig forbedret.Personalet var til tider direkte ufine mot gjestene og var svært sjelden eller aldri serviceminded. Dette gjalt ikke de 2 som jobbet med underholdningen på hotellet,de gjorde sitt beste,til tross for at de var kraftig underbemannet. Under middagen var det svært ofte tomt for diverse retter og man måtte alltid stå i kø,pga hovmesters manglende evne til å plassere folk på passende border,det hele var et kaos uten like til tider,vi opplevde å måtte vente opp til 45 min for å få komme inn i matsalen En annen ting med matsalen var den ekstreme varmen,det var nemlig ikke ordentlig aircondition eller noen form for ventilasjon,dvs de hadde noen vifter ,eller enkle,små aircondition enheter der,men de fungerte svært dårlig. Opplevde og ofte at de var tomme for glass,kniver,barnestoler,ja stort sett det meste var det mangel på til tider.. Variasjonen i maten var denne gang svært liten,nesten ikke noe variasjon i det hele tatt. På hotellet fungerer det slik at hvis man ikke er til lunch så kan man få en lunchbasket,noe som i og for seg er et svært bra tilbud ,men vi opplevde å måtte bestille dette 3 ganger før vi virkelig fikk en lunchbasket.Den ene gangen ble det glemt,den andre ville de ikke fordi vi bestillte den 5 min for sent(dagen før),3 gangen fikk vi.. Sist gang vi var der var alle hyggelige og hovmesteren var høyt og lavt og sørget for at alle skulle ha det bra,den nye hovmesteren var mer ute etter å surmule og stresse åpenlyst foran gjestene..

en absolutt ener hvis formålet er å reise med familiie på all inclusive,hotellområdet er delt opp i mindre celler slik at ikke det blir overfullt overalt...det er 6 leiligheter rundt et basseng,så hvis man vil vekk fra restaurantene og bassengene ved resepsjonen kan man trekke seg tilbake til sitt "eget" basseng..eksepsjonelt bra service...det er forresten golfbiler som man kan ringe etter som kjører deg rundt på det enorme hotellområdet hvis du vil det... Matog drikke er og bra,skal jeg dra frem noe negativt er det varm rødvin,det er alt i grunnen...

My holiday june 2019

Beautiful hotel. Excellent food friendly staff. Would deffinately recommend. Going back next year. Was by far the best hotel. Also my family have booked to go next yesr. Ive never seen such a clean hotel constant cleaners all day long. Beautiful pools and bar. Excellent all inclusive holiday. Plenty of food and drink for everyone. Entertainment for all ages.

Things ain't what they used to be

Having had a fabulous holiday at the resort last year we booked again and bought another friend. Unfortunately things have changed and not for the better. Managent planning seems to have gone out the window and hard pressed staff are under pressure to cope The mountain taverna has closed along with the bar and the "entertainment" had moved to the main pool.This has inevitably lead to long queues at the barand main dinning hall as all the holiday makers are now in one area. The Italian restaurant has changed to a fish restaurant(however they also do steak). To avoid the queues we booked here most nights however there was only one cook. As new guests arrived and twigged it was easier to use this restaurant this also became a queuefest as the poor chef tried to keep up with the demand. We had never experienced queues like it before and felt so sorry for the hard pressed staff trying to cope. Before the holiday I'd emailed the hotel twice as 2 if us had temporary mobility issues due to a accidents. We requested the room we has the previous year and for a single bed to be put in the large bedroom. Jet2 also requested this. On arrival late at night we were shown to another totally unsuitable room. The gentleman said to speak to reception the next day so we made the best if it. Walking into the reception the next day there was obviously an atmosphere so something had gone on. I explained about the room and the manager was extreamly curt and dismissive. Being a complaints manager myself I thought her attitude was appalling. I asked if the people in the room we requested were leaving Thurs as they hadn't been on our Tues flight so we could have that room then and would spend one more night in the other one. She begrudgingly agreed and I explained about the other bed as we were 3 middle aged ladies and 1 teen boy (2 of us couldnt make the stairs one being his mum). She was very dismissive but said she would let us know when the room was ready. On the Thurs we were told we could move and noted no 3rd bed. My friend went and spoke to the manager was who argued there was no room (there was plenty) in the end my friend suggested a matress on the floor which she begrudgingly agreed to. Shortly after the tiny cleaner turned up and proceeded to try and struggle with the mattress down the open wooden stairs! Luckily enough our youngster was around and he kept into action to assist. Now thankfully settled in we thought that was the end of our troubles but no. The electric tripped out every day needing a walk to reception to get it sorted each time. The quality of the food was not the same as last year, the pork was very fatty and at times good was cold. There seemed to be a lot of rehashing of salads (ie all mixed with mayo) which is a common practice but again this wasn't as prevalent last year. One of the barmen Gabie who had been there for years had left and speaking to one of the staff they confided that the hotel had trouble maintaining staff that's why everyone was frantically running round trying to cover. They worked so hard and very long hours. You would see staff at breakfast then the same at 1am in the morning still working. The staff at reception in the main were nice if things were going ok but quickly developed an attitude if you had an issue. We saw the manageress again arguing with another guest and staff seemed frightened of her. One night we met the owner we was dinning in the fish restaurant with her and we think she was his daughter. She has very poor customer relation skills. Just to cap it off on the day of our departure we developed good poisoning after eating hot dogs and burgers before coach pick up. This was probably the worst journey home I've ever had as we were all in and out of the plane loos. Unfortunately a cabin crew member took ill and we were diverted to Belgrade in the middle of a brief lightening storm. We hope that the cabin member was ok and obviously this was just an unfortunate incident which would have not been as stressful if we were not ill. All in all we still enjoyed our stay but would probably not return. I would like to mention a couple of bright spots as there were so e lovely friendly staff, our cleaner who was always so cheerful, Sakellaris the dinning hall manager who was an absolute star and a lovely gentleman who ensure we were sat away from being knocked (my knee was in a support), Valussarios behind the bar who along with Stephan made us laugh and again who where always cheery. The management need to get more staff, keep their staff on side and sort out opening the other restaurant again so there is more dispersal oh guests to prevent queues and learn to communicate with guests in a positive helpful fashion. Extremely Disappointed

This is not a four star hotel as advertised by Jet2. At best I would give this 2 stars and I’m afraid I could not possibly recommend this to anyone. My wife and I have been on a number of Jet2 holidays and have always found the star ratings to be accurate. However, that is not the case here. We were a party of 12 - 6 adults, 4 children and 2 babies - and the hotel was recommended to us by our travel agent as perfect for families. It is located about 45 mins walk from Kos town (which is lovely) or a €9 taxi ride. This is well advertised, along with the fact that there is nothing else near the hotel. Psalidi is very, very quiet and there are practically no bars or restaurants. Those that are there are a 30 min walk away. The problem is the hotel itself and the way that it is being managed. We booked Garden Family rooms for our kids and grandkids. These were scruffy and had limited air con. Our room was supposed to be a Sea View, Shared Pool Junior Suite. We did have a sea view but the shared pool was nowhere near the room itself. It was of very basic quality. To be honest we were lucky to end up with this room as when we checked in (at 11pm) we were allocated a regular sea view room. It wasn’t until the next day when we realised that we were miles away from any kind of pool and that we had been given a lower quality room. We discussed this at reception and were told that we had been given this lower quality room because it was near our kids’ rooms. There was no mention of this at check in. Upon check in we were issued with one room card that also served as the card that made the electricity work in the room. Signs were on display that guests could not have a second card so that the electricity worked in the room when you were not there. Therefore it was impossible to charge mobile devices. One sign also said that if guests tried to circumvent this process somehow then electricity to the room would be turned off or the guests would be charged... So...feeling as though the hotel had attempted to cheat us...let’s move on to the other facilities... The hotel advertises itself as having a gym. There isn’t one. It is not open and when we overheard other guests asking where it was the reception staff said that it was “under development” but that they had “run out of money”. Drinks are available all day from the pool bar (and only bar) and the staff there were pleasant and as efficient as they could be but drinks are served in tiny plastic glasses (even beer). The restaurant? The food is plentiful but the overall dining experience is appalling. The restaurant is not conducive to having a relaxed meal. Guests have to queue to enter and then even find themselves having to queue again to get a plate at the self service buffet. On a couple of occasions we witnessed people having to improvise plates and dishes so that they could eat. The staff in the restaurant lack any sort of training and are basically rude. Over the course of a week we never felt that we had a meal that was actually served at a temperature above luke warm. There is no tea or coffee in the restaurant after breakfast....forget getting a cup at lunch or dinner. Things were so bad that we gave up completely and ate in Kos (at extra expense). If the above was not terrible enough, halfway through our stay the general manager implemented a new restaurant dining process whereby guests had to book a table in the restaurant. This was only communicated via a table talker on the reception desk. Our kids (with 6 grandkids aged under 8) queued as normal for dinner for 30 mins to get to the front of the queue only to be told that they could not dine and were not allowed to enter the restaurant even to get the grandkids a drink. As you may well imagine from the above I had cause to speak to the reception staff on occasion. I found them to be polite but helpless. In summary....this is a very poorly run and managed hotel and Jet2 need to seriously consider their rating system. If you can rearrange your holiday or cancel then I would recommend that you do. I appreciate that my feedback may be viewed as someone with “First World” problems but I put a lot of emphasis on value for money and good customer service. On both fronts I feel completely let down by Jet2 and this hotel
