Vi har hatt noen veldig fine dager på Pandanus ressort. Rommene var vel vedlikeholt og rent. Maten og drikke var god, personalet hyggelig. Særlig resepsjonen gjorde en veldig god jobb. Guest relation manager guidet oss gjennom Mui Ne en morgen og informerte oss på en strålende måte også ellers. Noen ganger tok det for langt tid før maten kom. Det var ikke mye pågang på restaurantet, allikevel ventet vi en gang 45 minutter på pizza til lunsj. Personalet rundt bassenget og i restaurantet kunne vært litt mer oppmerksom. De to siste dagene var det flere gjester på hotellet enn før. Da var kapasiteten til restaurantet ved frokost sprengt. Det var vanskelig å få plass, bestikk manglet og personalet var ikke nok "på hugget". Anlegget var helt herlig og vi storkoste oss.
My wife and I just finished a two month stay to relax after touring Vietnam and while waiting for the airport to open in Burma. We had a fantastic stay - the staff and facilities were amazing - all the reception staff were fantastic and guest relations were great - thx Vinh.. The restaraunt staff were also exceptional and created whatever dishes we asked for ..thanks to the kitchen and also to Hong, Thanh , Tam and everyone else for the food service and all the room service deliveries! Thanks also to the housekeeping staff!! Thanks also to the guys for the Tai Chi lessons!! Special shout out to Steve the recently retired GM who made himself available and did everything he possibly could to take care of us and make our stay as good as it could possibly be ..my wife and I will miss our breakfast conversation with Steve - good fun and always informative .. All in all a great bunch of people and my wife and I wish everyone at Pandanus the best for the future.. Regards Kevin & Meelay
Absolutely never recommend to anyone under any circumstances
Stupidity and horrible reception are strong at Pandanus. We arrived at the hotel around 7pm tonight, Aug 4 2020. We told the receptionist that we were offered 2 millions/night all inclusive via a call with Pandanus earlier, and the receptionist responded she could only offer us 2.36 m/night and asked us to call back the person who talked to us, visibly voicing her distrust of us. We said, first, it was your hotel number who we called, your own people, shouldn't you call yourself? Second, Agoda offered the same facility for 1.88m translating into 2.16m/night all inclusive right then, she could see for herself. We would have been idiots to pay more than what was publicly offered. Third, we didn't even negotiate in the earlier call, we just asked for room price along with room info verification (some discrepancy among online sources) and got the quote, we didn't need more, or less, just integrity. The receptionist reluctantly called Pandanus' own sales desk within the premise to no avail because it already was after office hours, and she knew it, everyone already left the hotel except herself and maybe some service staffers. When we tried to explain, she put her rude attitude on display, interrupted us, and said she would charge us 2.36m/night and verify with sales later. Of course, we could not trust the receptionist at this point, and were too uncomfortable to stay, even for less than the price originally offer. At the end, we just let her know that her service presentation was hostile, and that we had not come here for a 300K discount and an honesty challenge. This rather large hotel was vastly vacated, so dimmly lit we could hardly see the surroundings nor any sight of guests at all. The least it could do to help itself was upgrade the front desk to a less cringed, more warming humans. We left this place for a favorite resort in Mui Ne, a much more welcoming experience, where we had dinner earlier, a place where we could still see other happy guests stroll by even during covid pandemic.
We loved our week at Pandanus and wished we could have stayed longer. Our beach front bungalow was perfectly situated and beautifully kitted out with every thing you need. There is a huge pool right by the beach and the feel of being in a lovely place. We were very lucky to be there while borders in Vietnam are closed and we did enjoy having the pool to ourselves however there is a lot of space around the pool and resort. The Breakfast and the seafood buffets were both fabulous and also remarkable are all the staff who were so nice, helpful and polite. After many years in Dubai we have finally found somewhere in Vietnam which reached the standards of some of the best hotels there and we will definitely be back soon.
“Stuck” at Pandanus during lockdown
Holding the title for longest guests, my friend and I were lucky enough to be staying at Pandanus when the borders were closed. We couldn’t have planned it better! Love the staff. Food is good. There is 3 miles of beach to walk. The grounds are gorgeous. We walked the sand dunes 5 minutes away, every morning for exercise. I honestly can’t say anything bad about this resort and I had plenty of time to find something wrong. Also Vinh, in guest relations really understands his job and just takes care of everything, He arranged our visa renewals and generally went out of his way to accommodate whatever we needed. We loved Hong who looked after us like we were family and Nhung who helped us eat Vietnamese food as it’s supposed to be eaten. We got to know the owner family of 4 siblings and families. They are just the best! I just couldn’t be happier or recommend it more sincerely.
