Great place to stay!!!

Amazing hotel Great location near to the center of skiathos town but just enough to escape from the noise. Very romantic atmosphere in the evening Very clean and brilliant breakfast. Professional staff,very polite and helpful.Great big swimming pool clean and well maintained. We will go back again amd I highly recommend it

Fabulous

A Beautiful hotel just a short stroll into town and harbour - the hotel is a perfect base to explore the rest of this gorgeous little island From the moment you walk through the doors you are made to feel so welcome . The owners and their lovely staff can’t do enough to make your holiday very special and always happy to give any advice or help with anything you need The Crazy Cow Restaurant - fabulous food and ambiance - not forgetting the delicious wine and cocktails- can’t wait to return !

Perfect hotel , perfect location !

Perfect location , easy walk into Skiathos town where you can find lots of lovely bars , restaurants and shops. The pool and bar area is exceptional, the staff are so friendly and helpful. Great selection of wine and the food at the Crazy Cow restaurant ( which is part of the hotel ) was excellent ! It’s a family run hotel and they really can’t do enough for you . We were advised on the best beaches to visit and when we said we’d like to go to one they even booked our sunbeds there ahead of our arrival - amazing service. All over experience was very satisfying and we will definitely be going back there !

Great hotel in the heart of the city

We booked Skiathos for my 45th birthday and it did not disappoint, the hotel and island are both amazing. Such a lovely and friendly hotel right in the heart of main town, lots of bars and restaurants very close to the hotel. The pool bar has such a lovely atmosphere and the food at the restaurant was very tasty! I am sure that we will come back soon and I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

Disappointing

We have stayed at La Piscine several times over the past few years, but this time was very different. We found the hotel to be tired and shabby in parts, especially around the pool area. The Crazy Cow restaurant has a different chef than in previous years and the standard of food was very poor. They have an offer at the restaurant for 3 meals within the week for a set price. We have always looked forward to doing this so booked them again this time. Unfortunately, after the second meal we cancelled the third as the food was so disappointing and unenjoyable. We explained this to the staff and offered constructive feedback. Yet we still ended up paying for all 3 meals -and more, due to a discrepancy surrounding this on check out. This was extremely embarrassing as the staff insisted we had to pay a further hundred euros for the meals, despite paying for when we had them in the restaurant. We tried to explain that we had already paid, but in a reception full of guests waiting to check out, the whole experience became quite stressful and humiliating. The owners had recently opened a new hotel in Skiathos, and appeared to be more interested in filling this than maintaining standards in La Piscine. This was the general consensus amongst the guests, many of who were also regulars there. We are returning to Skiathos for 3 weeks this summer but have booked a different accommodation as sadly we will not return to La Piscine again.
