Ferie august 2016
Skriver en anmeldelse som er gjort i vår ferie august 2016. Ved ankomsten til hotellet opplever vi rommet som særdeles skittent. Vi hadde joggesko og hvite sokker på når vi ankom. Vi tok av sko, satte fra oss koffertene på rommet mens vi top på shorts og lettere skotøy etter reisen. Vi skulle gå top lunch siden den var åpen. Vi oppdaget da at vi måtte ha tråkket på noe, men begge var like møkkete på sokkene våre. De skulle skifte håndkle hver dag, når vi la håndklærne ned på gulvet om morningen hengte det skittne håndklær på krokene på badet. Vi skulle få påfyll av vin hver dag i minibaren. De var ikke øl, men det viste vi om. Nå etter 3 dager har de ikke fylt på en gang. I dag fant vi skitne vaskefiller på skohyllen vår. Den var våt og møkkete. Det var lite delikat. Når vi booker et 5 stjerners Hotel forventer vi en standard der etter. Dette hotellet fortjener ikke mer enn 3 stjerner. Ja de har hårføner og tøfler, men det hjelper lite når du må ta på sko når du går inn på rommet.! Anbefaler alle til å sjekke gulvet med en sokk, eller et dopapir med vann på. Tror mange blir overrasket over et særdeles dårlig rengjort rom. Anbefale ikke dette hotellet til noen! PS! Vi var innom Akti Beach som ligger ved siden av. Det er samme kjede, og har 4 stjerner. De har en mye hyggeligere atmosfære, mer og bedre mat. Lykke til med ferien, men spar pengene til et annet hotell!!! Leif Bile der for en 5 x 5 cm flekk på gulvet.
Dette er det verste og det beste hotellet vi har besøkt, jeg skal ta de tingene som er viktig for oss som reiste med en ti åring. Starter med det positive- veldig god mat, god service og godt renhold av rommene. Så det dårlige- skittent basseng(vår datter fikk øre infeksjon) og dårlig renhold av området rundt, steinete strand og vanskelig å komme ut i vannet, i Ving sin katalog som er svært misvisende står det at det er en av de fineste strendene på Kos med sand og noe stein, dette er helt feil og var for oss meget skuffende, videre vil jeg si at hotellet ikke er helt ferdig med manglende rekkverk over alt, (min kone tråkket ved et uhell utfor en 40 cm høy kant og slo seg stygt) det finnes faktisk ikke et eneste rekkverk i felles områdene på hele hotellet(som jeg så). Har du barn som har lyst å henge med andre er dette ikke hotellet for deg, første uken var det bare russere og andre uken nesten bare engelskmenn. Jeg skjønner ikke at Ving og Startour kan ha dette hotellet i sin portifølge for skandinaver. Det meste var myntet og tekstet på russisk og jeg så ikke en eneste Ving vert eller noe informasjon oppslått av Ving. Faktisk måtte vi ringe Ving for å få avreisetidspunkt, for dette var det ikke informert om i den svenske avreise permen, da jeg ringte og trykket for norsk, fikk jeg en dansk vert i andre enden. Uteområdene er ikke ferdig beplantet og blir vannet med noe kloakk liknende vann som lukter helt forferdelig, dette er også et problem i restauranten. Ving opplyser at det er tre restauranter en kan bruke i tillegg til buffét tilbudet, ja men en sannhet med modifikasjoner, for de sier ingenting om du ikke kan bestille fra meny, nei alle får de samme rettene til samme tid, du må spise det du får og barna havner i buffet restauranten. Jeg kunne fortsatt men nå er det nok, må spare litt til Ving også.
Holiday from hell!!
Our holiday which was a wedding gift from my mother and father has been a holiday from hell, We have spent more time away from the hotel than in it and when we've been at the hotel we've spent more time at reception or waiting to see the rep which I'd never have dreamt doing on a holiday. Hours waisted waiting around trying to sort issues that shouldn't be an issue for a 5 star luxe collection hotel. On Arrival we had to wait 45 minutes to check in, After having asked if there was more staff as it was 12 pm at night and we had two young children under the age of 3, one being a baby at 11 months old we were told rudely to wait our turn, finally after checking in, we asked if we could have a kettle which we were told via email from the hotel themselves and by Jet 2 that we could have one to make our baby's bottles. We were told the reception had non left and the hot water facility in the kitchen was broke and that if we needed hot water to go to the hotel next door! At 12pm with a screaming and hungry baby in muggy heat ... The hotel didn't give a damn! We paid extra for a sea view room, The hotel had no recognition of this. Oh and don't be fooled by the restaurant options, your only option is the main restaurant as you have to book months in advance for the Asian or Greek restaurants they have on site! Which isn't explained before you travel! There is a huge lack of facilities for families including essential facilities bottle making, Kettles, Air Connnot working, Restaurant usage, Washing facilities (dirty bedding, no towels, no replacement of towels). These facilities were things that were not provided for either all or majority of our stay with this hotel. The list goes on and trust me when we say the hotel doesn't give a damn about your issues. Very rude staff!!

The warmest, friendliest hotel I’ve ever been to. The views were stunning and everywhere you looked was just beautiful. The beauty and The staff are what make this hotel and I need to say an huge thank you to: George - who worked the night shift in main restaurant, he did baggage transfer and room check in, he made the best crepes and worked so hard and always with a smile on his face. John - stocked our mini bar every day. Great service. We had 3 rooms and he was so friendly and patient with our picky family. Michael, pangiota (penny) , Denis and Stergia looked after us in the numerous restaurants. Always so helpful, smiling and friendly. We looked forward to seeing them at meal times. My first visit to Greece and Kos and I’m in love! Details: pool was clean, massive and sun beds (renewed during our stay) became plentiful, beach and location perfect with kardemena a free 10min bus journey. Water sports - Rachel, again so friendly. Our rooms - close together, spacious and great balconies. Numbers 2212, 2214, 2215. Flowers in walkways and gardens were well looked after and pretty. All activities easy accessed from sister hotel - literally next door and water polo, darts, water gym we all thoroughly enjoyed. Great activities team. Pool bar had live music in evening which was lovely atmosphere. Main bar was chill and we played cards and socialised here. Inside and outside seating. The not so nice… sad to say, Definitely Not a 5star hotel. Check in we had hiccups with our room. A flood, we weren’t given another room and had to clean it up ourselves. Wasn’t cleaned until 4pm the next day. Cleanliness of our rooms was actually quite bad, beds never moved to clean floors from previous guests, bird excrement left on doors and never cleaned during our stay. Mould around all our baths (3 rooms). Showers flooded the bathrooms each use. Pool jacuzzi never worked, ampi theatre not in use (and hotel was full). Gym had no air conditioning and I couldn’t use it. Greek restaurant was closed and squashed into the seafood restaurant (dates to book were limited). Very disappointed with the Greek food, we went and ate in main restaurant after. Premium drinks included were pre-made cocktails (just not nice). Couldn’t get a latte or milkshake. So it wasn’t 5star, but we loved our holiday here and if you go expecting a 3star/4star hotel - you’ll be thoroughly delighted. My husband and I travelled with my parents, our 17yr old daughter and her 19yr old friend and our 14yr old daughter. Highly recommend this hotel.

Just got back from this hotel in Kos organised by Jet 2,We stayed here a week treating my Daughter her husband & two grand children after reading the on line reviews saying it is 5 star rated,The hotel is in my eyes 2/3 star the rooms are filthy the food is repetitive they say you can book one of the three themed restaurants there but you need to book before you arrive as there was no availability,The drinks are none branded ie not premium the soft drinks are from a machine feed by syrup so full of sugar,The mini bar in your room is supposed to be topped up every day but not once was it topped up,My daughter spent a third of her holiday complaining to the jet 2 rep & the hotel management all they did was look at her gone out and do nothing about it,my Daughter-is ex trading standards officer so she knows exactly how the system works there has been a lengthy complaint been logged with jet 2 we will await the outcome,It is a shame really as my previous experience with jet2 has been 100%,Also be very careful if swimming in the sea on there private beach full of shale and very rocky as you enter the sea they have put sand bags down as you walk in to stop you from breaking your ankles,Also it says not reserving sun beds but believe me they are down there 5.30/6.00 every morning putting towels on beds so you get drawn in doing the same as everyone else otherwise you won’t get a bed by the pool specially if you need to be in the shade having two young children,To sum it all up this was meant to be a holiday to remember first time grand children going abroad and a wedding present from me & the wife,This will only have bad memories and can assure you will not return or recommend to anyone But we can say Kos island itself is lovely
