It was amazing experience, nice view from the room , thanks to the Russian speaking lady in reception who provided us amazing room with view , everything was great, only the there are few options in buffet for breakfast, need to provide more international menu then mostly was Indian dish . And there is no bath tub Available in room , Rest everything was great .
Everything was perfect, the hotel has a beautiful view, everyone was super friendly and attentive to me… I want to thank especially Christine, who always had a smile on her face and was ready to help, and Santos, who was also super pleasant, making my experience even better. Thank you for the reception, and congratulations to the team.
From a UK visitor point of view
Visited this hotel for a week and this is our 4th visit to Dubai so we’ve done loads before. We picked this hotel as it looked quiet and good location as loved the palm before. Checkin was great, although they are strict with All Inclusive timings so had to wait till 3pm for our bands, we arrived at 9.30am. Lots of sunbeds around and lovely beach bar too. Restaurants: 3 available as well as pool bar for snacks. Italian was great, lovely pizzas and AI get a set menu with about 6 choices of mains. Mexican was very different, only 3 options and although food was good, it did t change all week so we only went twice. The view from there was beautiful, but wasn’t happy when I asked for sour cream for my tacos and the server said it would be charged for, so I declined on principal. Buffet restaurant was the usual everyday restaurant and although not very big, quality of food was good. My only criticism for English people was, no chips all week and not much English food. For breakfast it was the usual pastries, toast, fruit etc, lovely coffee machines, but no decaf option, but they did get some when requested which we think was instant. The egg/omelette station was very good and baked beans were offered everyday as well as rice, meat, noodles etc which we thought was strange. I think we were just used to a wider range of English foods in a hotel when on holiday. Rooms: extremely clean and modern with lovely balcony. Usual accessories in bathroom too and a lovely walk in shower, fridge and TV with internet so u could watch YouTube if u wanted. Beach: just a very short walk in front of the hotel and plenty of sunbeds and toilets too. WiFi also worked here which was great as UK data doesn’t work from most providers. Music was a little too loud sometimes, but this wasn’t on all the time thankfully. Staff: everyone was so friendly and professional at all times, Sanjeev at the pool bar, Christen at the buffet restaurant and Adidnan & Darahan need a special mention. They went above and beyond at all times. Drinks: great cocktails and branded spirits which were great. Beer was limited to Heineken and Becks. Would we return, most definitely and would definitely recommend it here for a nice quiet relaxing week. Taxis were £14 to JBR and £7 to Atlantis. Hotel has free bus to malls which was also great. Pool was a little small, but beach was beautiful so didn’t worry. There is also a very small children’s pool under cover and some swings.
Quality of Sea food was amazing and service of Amr was great
Brunch Buffet was amazing and service was even better, a special mention of Amr who made our experience that much better. The view of the restaurant is lovely as well. Would definitely recommend for families to come visit as a weekend getaway.
Small hotel but definitely worth a visit
Just come back from a short break at The Aloft. Myself and my daughter, we went for her 21st birthday celebrations. All the staff were very good especially Wissem on reception who organised a complementary birthday surprise for my daughter at the Mexican restaurant on the top floor of the hotel. The food was amazing and they brought out a Happy Birthday cake which was a nice touch. We also dined at the Italian restaurant too on the second floor which was very good also. Couldn’t fault the buffet breakfast either. This hotel is a lot smaller than other hotels on the Palm but this suited us just fine. Swimming pool is quite small which was fine for this time of the year but I would imagine in the warmer months when more people are visiting the hotel it could be a problem with the sun loungers. There is also a private beach and beach bar a short walk from the hotel which is very nice with plenty of sun loungers there. Room was very clean and modern and very comfortable beds. Had a sea view with balcony. One negative thing about the room was there was no plug socket in the small vanity area in the bathroom where the hairdryer was kept and in the main bedroom when the hairdryer was plugged in the cord couldn’t reach the mirror! So drying your hair was quite tricky!! Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re coming to Dubai for a short break. We will be coming back.
