Best place to stay in Zagori (Greece)

1700 Mikro Papigo was the dream stay! Pity we only had 2 days. The spacious and comfortable rooms (and the fireplace), the delicious food, the spa (especially after a day spent hiking! - the trails start right at the entrance to the hotel), the friendly and attentive service, the views from rooms and from the restaurant - we will definitely return. Anna and Alexander

wonderful staff, amazing breakfasts and great views

The views are great, the staff are vey helpful, the breakfast was plenty and great. The room were really not that special. One room only had a tiny cupboard. There were quite a bit of noise fram the people upstairs tramping and moving furniture. You also have to be aware that you cannot stay there with walking disabilities as the access is quiet steep.

Dream visit!!

Finding this gem in the middle of the Greek mountains was such an incredible experience! The hotel village absolutely swept us away with its beauty nested on the top of this ancient village and the stone buildings kept in their natural environment are so beautifully decorated. A special recognition to Cristo, the maître d’hôtel who works so hard to meet everyone’s requests, such a professional and a nice man / father who adds a wonderful personality to this dream place!! The welcoming team including the bell boy was also important to build the right expectation for the stay. We hope to be back one day !

Fantastic!

This place was sooo good for us, peaceful with a wonderful scenery and the best food you can get. Xristos, our waiter all week, made our stay extra special, everyday he took good care of us, serving lovely food, that alwas was so nice presented.- we think there must have been a magician in the kitcken too :) And dont´t miss the spa lady Anna, she gave the best massage ever ! We are looking forward to go back !!!

Wonderful experience in all form

Wonderful place with amazing scenery, comfortable room, clean, extraordinary food and superb service. Stayed for 2 days and traveled around - there’s a lot of trails in the area. The only drawback is getting there, but that’s the price of going to a Northern Greek small village. Still you can get your luggage from the car by the hotel’s vehicle and the driver will be very helpful. Say bye to Kostas from me. And definitely visit the restaurant besides breakfast!
