Enkelt men god beliggenhet

Flott for barn og for å slappe av. Rimelig, nytt og rent hotell. Nydelig strand og hotellet har ypperlig plassering. Middels service(gidder ikke ta koffert, anstrenger seg ikke maks for å besvare spm eller hjelpe med data problemer). Får også trekk for enkel frokost. De sparer seg til fant(må betale for wifi og data, ingen såpe å badet og ikke solsenger inkl.). Hotell nærhet av buss og hovedvei. Flott bussettverk til sentrum og Koukounarisstranden, 2 euro. Taxi mellom 5-10 euro. Ville heller valgt dette hotellet enn gamle og dyre Skiathos Palace

Holiday

We stayed at Troulos Bay Hotel from 16 th-23rd May, the Hotel was very clean, and a lovely pool and right on the beach. There is a Supermarket nearby only 5 minute walk, and this is where the bus stops, number 20, and you can get to Koukounaries beach and Skiathos town. No loud music around pool area, only spoiler was people putting their towels on sun beds early morning, and not using them until later! We stayed half board, the breakfast was good eggs bacon and fruit and yoghurt, feta cheese and tomato and cucumber and cakes. Main meals were good, varied menu and lots of food, 3 courses. Staff were very attentive and special thanks to Irwin, Vangelis, and Yannis, even saving us a table for the evening. Thankyou for making our holiday so memorable, would highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location, spoilt by the Towel Brigade.

As with the previous 3 May reviews the breakfast was limited in quality , but what has to be taken into account is how much are TUI paying for it. There is no problem with the quality the hotel does with Lunch and Dinner. Also I think the pool bed issue needs attending , we prefer the beach so never tried for one, our room had a perfect view of the towel brigade. We had an early morning cupper so we're able to watch, from 06:45 they fertively appeared. Some did then not take the use of the bed until 11:00, and very very few seemed to actually swim in the pool. Yes the Hotel charged residents for use of their beach beds 12 Euros. But 30 yards along the beach the tavernas beds were 10 Euro, and in fact our first week the taverna did not charge if you purchased at least a drink. As many say all Staff very friendly and good at their jobs.

Very Disappointing Breakfast

Very disappointing. Do not go to this hotel if you want a good breakfast. We were there for a week and we had tinned pears and peaches every day and a two item cooked breakfast that was cold every morning. Only two cheap breakfast cereals, white bread only and processed cheese and ham. Everybody we spoke to was of the same opinion. Fresh fruit was obtainable from a nearby supermarket only. We were ready to book again for September but this poor breakfast was a deal breaker. The room was good and was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Every morning by 7 am most of the sun beds were gone. There are not enough for the amount of people staying there. A sunbed on the beach was 12 euros and are situated at the front of the hotel. If you cross the main road you will find a fabulous restaurant called Oregano. The staff at the hotel were very good. A bus into town was 3 euros per person and is very regular. No Greek music or entrertainment, no atmosphere.

Deffo not a 4 star

Lovely location but could do with livening up, some music around the pool area would be nice. Rooms are quite small nowhere to sit others than the beds. The breakfast is very poor , not much choice of hot food and what there is, is lukewarm at its best.Seems to be aimed at the more mature people. Don’t think I would stop in Troilus again.
