What more could you need! ❤️

We stayed at Nicholas Studios in August 2023 and had an amazing weeks stay. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and we couldn’t have asked for any more. The pool area is excellent, with enough sun-beds for the guests and a nice chilled atmosphere. The gardens around the hotel are stunning and so well maintained. Having previously stayed in the Alkyon I would definitely say our experience at Nicholas studios was far better and I would highly recommend the apartments to anyone visiting Skiathos. We will definitely be back! The hotels location is also fab, with a ten/fifteen minute walk into town, we were lazy a couple of nights and got a taxi back but again this only cost around €8, the bus stop is also really close and super convenient. The bar/restaurant does lovely food and although we tended to venture out we had breakfast here and it was delicious. We stayed in apartment 15 which had a lovely view looking out towards the sea. The room was basic but had everything you needed and was cleaned daily to a really high standard. To be completely honest we could not have been happier with our apartment and that’s all thanks to the staff for making this a lovely accommodation to stay at. Cannot wait to come back again. ☺️

Wonderful hosts

We didn’t stay here but wish we had. Panos and Nadia are wonderful hosts, the pool area is lovely and clean and the pool is divine! Had breakfast there most mornings, tea and toast but it was delicious and set us up for the day. If I return to skiathos I would definitely stay here.

Beautiful place with amazing staff!

We have just returned from a wonderful ten night stay and can't speak highly enough about our experience. The apartments are modest but spotlessly clean with beautiful views. The pool area is stunning with a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by pretty gardens. Skiathos Town is a short walk away and there is a bus stop right outside if you want to explore the island. The highlight of our holiday was the welcome we received from Panos and Nadia who were extremely friendly, helpful and hard working. The apartments are family run and it shows. They have gone above and beyond to ensure that we had an amazing time and we cannot thank them enough. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Skiathos on holiday.

another great stay

Small apartment complex consisting of 18 units rented out to brits and northern Europeans. There is a 50 metre steep slope on the approach to the complex with adequate parking for any hired vehicles. There are literally flowers everywhere and were in full bloom during our stay which smelled divine. The pool has a shallow end but there is a steep drop so children will need supervision. There were good quality sunbeds with cushions but a few more are required but on the up side you do feel you had some privacy at the pool as not on top of one another. The brollys were not operational on windy days at certain places by the pool and needs addressing. We had room 15 with sea view which was very comfortable with had comfy beds. The room is typically Greek, 2 beds, wardrobe, 2 ring hob, sink, fridge, kettle, toaster and hairdryer. Balcony had washing line with lots of pegs, two chairs and a table. The kitchen cupboards were new and there are plans to re do the bathrooms which are dated. Should you have a desire to self cater there were adequate utensils in order to do so. The rooms were exceptionally clean – I always check under the bed and no dust there. We had regular linen and towel changes during our 10 day stay. The standard of cleanliness around the complex its self was of the highest order. It’s a family run concern manning the reception/bar, food duties and there is great pride taken if what’s on offer. We ate lunch at the pool most days, it had a good selection with prices comparable to town and really nice food. Panos and Nadiya ran the complex were kind and courteous to everyone throughout our stay despite some ill mannered guests. Our air con broke and it was repaired the next day no fuss. For the family your comfort and enjoyment are paramount for them and they were fabulous hosts. You are 5 minutes from the beach at megli ammos, the bus stop is not far and literally everything is on your doorstep. The beach gets less crowded the further out you get but still the same crystal clear water. We walked into town Skiathos town most nights, better pavements are required in certain parts or went the beach front restaurants in megli ammos. There plenty of restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets. Overall another fantastic stay in Skiathos, would I come back for a fourth time, certainly. Would I stay at the Nicholas again definitely – I loved everything about it. The tourist tax seems to be being used to better the resort I just hope that the resort doesn’t become so sophisticated I can’t afford to come again.

Amazing holiday

Had an amazing time here. Family run , very friendy. Go out of their way to make sure everything is right! Very clean and tidy. Amazing view from our balcony no. 16. One of the best holidays ever been on. Stunning place, 10 mins walk to skiathos town. Plenty of buses or taxis if dont or cant walk. Overall 10 out of 10, highly recommed !!!
