FANTASTISK
Vi giftet oss på Santorini i juni 2014. Vi hadde med 35 gjester og vi sjekket inn hos Makarios alle sammen, fantastisk hotell, fantastisk personal og en føler seg rette å slett veldig velkommen! ALLE våre gjester var veødog fornøgde med oppholdet.
Great hotel near airport
Good small family run hotel with good service. The rooms are clean and the cleaners come every day. Breakfast is good. Pool area is good size and always place in the sun and a place in shadow. Good thing that a bus stop is right at the hotel and there are buses that go all over the island. Good family holiday.
Beautiful and clean hotel
All I can say is that the hotel is perfect for a small break/holidays. Nice staffs. Petros was really helpful with everything. the only down side was the breakfast. The coffee machines didn't work perfectly and food was average. other than that the property was beautiful and just in front of the bus stop to Fira, so that is a plus point!

First of all, it is really unfair to say 1 star hotel, IT'S TOTALLY UNFAIR , I CANNOT STAND IT! EVERY DAY THE ROOM WAS ALWAYS OVER CLEANED AND TIDIED UP WHEN WE WERE BACK FROM THE SEA OR FROM EXCURSIONS, WHATEVER! I REALLY WANT TO UNDERLINE THIS SPECIFIC SERVICE, WE WERE SO PLEASED TO THANK THE WOMEN WHO WERE ALWAYS SO PRECISE , EVEN IN OVER-BOOKED TIMES! THEY DESERVE THESE WORDS 'CAUSE ARE THE RIGHT ONES, THEY PUt SO MANY EFFORTS AND DID THE PERFECT JOB! Secondly, we were always answered for any single question, any problem solved soon (if there were any), everything has been done with professionality , we were adviced, welcomed, helped. It is their job , of course. But I do work within tourism and hospitality, and I do recognize people who are really passioned about their job! The staff of Hotel Makarios love their clients, I can swear. Pedros, the receptionist, slightly rest in order to be always ready for his costumers. It is something that goes beyond his duties. I have seen him, I have seen love in what he does. You are the best Pedros , your staff, the driver, me and my relatives Maria and the little Emma won't forget you, thank you for everything and to be exactly like you are. A big hug to all the people we met and who came across our lives for a while, especially Chris, we won't forget him. Last but not least: BREAKFAST IS SIMPLY PERFECT: HUGE AMOUNT OF FOOD, PLENTY OF VARIETIES. PROBABLY SOMETHING COULD BE IMPROVED FOR COVID REASONS, BUT THE PROBLEM COMES FROM COSTUMERS WHO DONT' CARE ABOUT WEARING MASKS AND PUTTING GEL, SO DEAL WITH IT! MAKARIOS HOTEL IS PERFECT, PEOPLE ARE NOT! LOVE YOU, STEFI FROM ITALY
the old hotel makarios
it's a one ⭐️ hotel, it's just cleanliness! the food is of last resort, it is suitable for people aged 3. linen changes every 3 days. in relation to price vs quality of service leaves much to be desired!
