Meget blandet, savner charme og engagement

Godt beliggende tæt på gode restauranter samt indkøb, ca. 6-700 m til meget bred og meget benyttet strand. Poolområde, men alt alt for få solsenge, der er 9 stk,, som der er kamp om. Savner også nogle borde og stole på de grønne områder. Morgenmadsrestauranten er jævnt kedelig for vesterlandske turister. Generelt mangler der charme og personlighed på stedet, det virker meget overfladisk og som gennemgangs hotel. Wifi er meget svingende i kvalitet, f.eks. ikke eksisterende ved poolområdet, og meget svagt på altanerne.

Only words of praise for every member of staff here.

I am writing this review while having a great time at the Kyriad Hotel. My first stay here was in October 2023 for two weeks, which was a great experience. I enjoyed being here so much that I booked to stay here for four weeks this time, I now have two more weeks before I fly back to London. GOD willing, I will be back here again in October 2024 for four weeks and in April - May 2025 for 8 weeks. Why? you may ask. Because every member of the staff here, go out of their way to make my stay comfortable. My room is spacious, clean and comfortable. It feels very calm and peaceful in the hotel’s garden and sitting round the swimming pool. There are occasions when you may get some guests, talking very loud, shouting or making a nuisance in the swimming pool. Obviously these guys have no consideration for other guests, but they are quickly reminded to behave themselves by the security. There’s plenty of choice of good food and beverages. The kitchen staff are more than happy to prepare items for you of your choice. Please just remember that this is a 4* hotel, but some people expect the luxuries of a 5* hotel by paying for 4*. I can assure you that the management and staff here do their utmost to please each and every guest, but sometimes there may be some guests who have the habit of nit picking and give poor feedback, just to get some compensation. Please take no notice of these Gold Diggers. As far as I’m concerned, I’m very happy here, I only have words of praise for every member of staff here.

Goa Visit - Kriyad feedback

Hotel kriyad is good. Staffs are very supportive. Morning breakfast and other meals were very nice. Gouttam and Mama are the chefs who are very nice and always ready to serve with the great dish which you wish to have. Overall staffs are very supportive All the best.

Dirty, tired hotel

This hotel is filthy! Our room overlooked a busy street behind the hotel and was noisy. Our room did have bed made daily, but never was t bags, toilet paper, creamer etc replenished. It took 20 mins and 2 visits to reception (phone in room not working) to get replacements. The stairs were never swept in 4 days we were there. The outside areas were filthy, so much ingrained dirt on patio.tiles. The benches and tables need a good clean. Everywhere is so dirty, including serving dishes, lids are left off and food lukewarm. 9 sunbeds and they too have split mattresses, not enough for no of people wanting them. The hotel also has conferences so was overrun by delegates 2 days with excess noise. My ironing service, whilst cheap was a waste of time as I needed to re iron the clothing. Apart from bar staff who were excellent, the rest leave a lot to be desired. Nothing was done in a timely fashion. Could not wait to leave this hotel, poor service, disgusting unclean areas and to top it all a rat was running around during breakfast one day!

Shameful

My wife and I booked a 3 week winter sun holiday at the Kyriad Prestige hotel. Firstly, let me emphasise that the restaurant and bar staff (Hemant and Lorenzo) to name but 2 could not do enough for us, but when it comes to housekeeping, well that is a totally different matter altogether. On our arrival we were allocated room 3 on the ground floor in block A the view from the balcony looked out onto a white slatted store or such like which was approximately 1-2 MTRS from our balcony but with a walkway in between which hotel staff used which made it impossible to sit on the balcony or have the curtains open. We complained about this room and were offered a 2nd room (room 207) on the 2nd floor of block A, this time the view was of a busy noisy street at the back of the hotel. Whilst the view was far from perfect it was better than the 1st room. Fairly early on in our holiday we noticed that the bed linen and towels had a light brown colour with darker brown stains on the towels. We complained about this and they were changed and slightly improved for a couple of days then reverted back to their original state. Towards the end of the 3rd week my wife was reattaching the strap of the mattress cover which meant pulling back the bottom sheet where she noticed the disgusting state of the mattress cover which had patches of black mould and adult bodily fluid stains. My wife left a note for housekeeping on the bed requesting it be changed and went straight to reception to complain, the mattress protector was changed the same day but how could the housekeeping staff allow this disgusting cover to stay on the mattress knowing that they would see it every time the sheet was changed. Owing to the fact that our balcony looked out onto a busy noisy street and was directly opposite another hotel we did not use it for the duration of our stay. On one occasion during the last week of our stay we went out onto the balcony and found a nesting pigeon behind the air conditioning unit with bird droppings on the floor beneath, the small patio table, the balcony railing and the balcony floor was so dirty and dusty it obviously had not been cleaned for some days. We again complained to the reception staff who between them and the head of housekeeping arranged for the pigeon to be cleared from behind the air con unit, cleaned all the pigeon droppings from the balcony and swept and cleaned the balcony floor. This is in no way a 4* hotel standard and the pictures of the sunbeds around the pool, the outside restaurant seating and the outside bar area seating are years out of date. A very disappointing 3 week stay.
