Utmerket serai!

Flott serai med stort grøntareale og gedigen innredning. Flotte marmorgulv i enormt resepsjonsområde, men ganske mørke korridorer. Rom uten balkong, dessverre. Romslig med svært gode senger. Stort, velutsstyrt bad.

Nice and helpfull Stuff with a smile on there face all the time !! Nice Clean and Luxurious Rooms !! Fantastic Breakfast !! Very Nice and Big soft bed !! Clima !! Nice and Quiet Room !! External and Internal Parking space !!

Amazing hotel

Everything was amazing! We enjoyed it a lot! The hotel looks fantastic. The food was very tasteful.The staff were very nice, kind and helpful and especially the manager of the hotel Mr Ziakos. We will definitely come back!

Style over substance, 3 star at best.

We stay in Ioannina regularly as we live an hour and a half away and we come for the Chinese and the Mexican food which isn’t available locally. We usually book one of the boutique hotels but we needed a hotel which was more central due to recovering from a fractured knee. Overall impression of the hotel was good. The gardens and reception area are very grand. The room was adequate. The bed was very soft and 2 beds pushed together not a double. No charging point for toothbrushes in the bathroom. My pet hates, shower over the bath (especially with my recovering fracture) and no window in the bathroom. It was also the meanest hospitality tray I have ever encountered, not even a tea bag (luckily we brought our own) or any milk or coffee mate or even a dry biscuit! Upon further inspection there were several 12 inch long black hairs on the floor and peanuts on the balcony floor which hadn’t been cleaned. We headed to the pool area via the spa, to find out that the spa was temporarily closed. The pool was freezing (we have our own pool which is 29 degrees, this was more like 25 🥶 There were no towels for the sunbeds when we arrived but then some turned up. We put the parasol up, it was 38 degrees and sweltering but the bar staff told us we had to put it down due to the wind, what wind? He then went round putting all the parasols down so a lot of people had to leave. We asked for 2 large draft beers to be told they didn’t have any. 2 large bottled beers? No sorry only small, bottles at €5.50, no thanks. We didn’t stop long as we had no drink and no shade. We headed to reception who told us the lobby bar had draft beer so we headed there to be told they had no beer. We went back to our room and my husband went to the local shop for some cold beers. We had been driving for 90 mins, arrived at a five star hotel for a night away in a heat wave and no cold beers? In fairness, reception called our room and 2 small beers arrived which is what I would expect. Breakfast was chaotic, very busy, badly laid out and kids running around and screaming. Greeks have no control over their kids. Fifty percent of the breakfast was sweet pies, cakes, chocolate and tarts which just don’t belong on our breakfast table. We asked for some hot water to go with our tea bags. The tea pot was broken and chipped with the handle missing. We had some breakfast, mainly eggs, but again, simple rules of hygiene, the scrambled eggs were in a double tureen with sausages so as a vegetarian I couldn’t eat the scrambled eggs as they were contaminated. Put the lid down and all the steam and condensation from the sausages is falling onto the eggs. We paid more than we would usually pay for a night away expecting a bit of luxury, spa, pool etc. but came away disappointed. Our own house and pool are far more luxurious, with stand alone bath, double shower cubicle, soft close toilet lid, infinity pool and cold beers in the fridge. A hotel with more style over substance.

We will go again

Excellent hotel! Very nice and big room! Even though we did not have a balcony, we had view at the pool. Excellent and very rich breakfast. Very polite people. Very good location. We will stay again !!
