Salmakis Resort &Spa er et flott hotell i avslappende omgivelser. Maten er gjennomført middelhavsmeny som er variert og velsmakende. Dette er et typisk tyrkisk hotell når det gjelder interiør. Lite skandinaviske gjester. God service.

Relaxing week

Returned today after a lovely holiday at Salmakis. There is a lot to like at this resort. We had room 832, and although the room was dated it was a good size and had lots of storage space but the real plus was the view. It was a joy to watch the boats going about their business and see the cruise ships coming into port in the mornings. The room was very clean and well stocked with toiletries. Drinks in the fridge and tea tray replenished each day. It initially took us a while to find our way back to the room when we went out due to the layout of the resort, but it was a great room to return to each day. We had lunch one day at the beach restaurant which was very well presented but we had most meals in the main restaurant. There was a good variety of food to choose each day and the staff made meals a very pleasant experience. In particular, I must mention Ramazan who served us with a very professional ease, making us welcome with getting our regular drinks as we arrived and making regular checks to see if there was anything else we needed. He was a star. It was nice to go to the beach each morning and have our choice of sun beds, not sure if this was because they were enforcing the policy not to reserve sun beds. Bar staff attended guests on the beach to provide drinks. It was nice to have fruits and ice cream hut at the beach, all served with a smile. So many good things that made it a great choice for a relaxing week but I must mention that there was a downside, and this was entertainment. There was entertainment on two nights. There was a Turkish dance act due to start at 9.30. This did not start until 10 and there was no update from the animation team. I made enquiries at 9.45 and was told they were held up in traffic but guests waiting for show were not informed. The hotel would real really benefit with getting to grips with how the animation team is engaging with guests. Sadly, improvement is needed in this area. Notwithstanding the lack of professionalism by the animation team I would recommend this hotel because of the location and the great service in the bars and restaurant.

Great hotel lovely holiday

Wonderful holiday. Everything was just lovely. The staff are amazing especially ibrahim in the restaurant who looked after us. We read the reviews and was a bit unsure but what a wonderful holiday and a lovely hotel. We see the manager or owner walking around and checking everything. We also see him eating in the restaurant which we thought was great. No complaints just a great place to stay. So relaxing. Hopefully we will be back ❤️

Great stay

Everything was clean, food was good. It is not a hotel for people that aren’t mobile because of all the stairs. Service was great. Everybody does their best to make you feel at home. The entertainment was cancelled because of the rain several times. Too bad because in the evenings it would clear up. The pool is nice and the private beach is great. Bodrum city is nearby and it’s great to go there with the boat taxi. Or you could walk there. Overall i had a nice stay and enjoyed my time.

Amazing holiday❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The hotel is magnificent, we enjoyed our stay, it was perfect to every detail! The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Ramadan, Tarik from the restaurant and Celebi ,goksu,ozge and gorkem.. The hotel is very near the city center, just a 10 min ride with a water taxi. Overall beautiful and very happy place to be!
