Fantastisk

Vi leide villa Joanna 6/9-13/9 2015 (Grand Majestic villa). Et ypperlig sted for deg som vil slappe av og ha en rolig ferie med ikke så alt for mange mennesker rundt deg. En veldig fin og rolig atmosfære uten bråk og støy. Villaen var vakkert innredet og uteområdet var helt fantasktisk. Godt med plass og skjermet for innsyn. Restauranten i hotellet må roses for fantasktisk mat og ikke minst for god service! Personalet på hotellet oppfylte dine minste ønsker og var bestandig klar for å hjelpe deg med et smil! Vi må også nevne de fantastiske burgerene fra restauranten, helt nydelige! Kommer absolutt tilbake senere. Anbefales på det sterkeste 😊

A few days in paradise

We have just arrived home after an excellent few days at the Royal Garden Villas and thought it only right that we write a glowing review of the hotel and its staff. First positive about this place is the proximity to the airport. At around 20 mins by taxi, it’s close enough that you don’t feel as though you’re wasting too long travelling, and it’s reasonable in a taxi too (pre-booked through Holiday Extras). You arrive at an inconspicuous wooden door, but once you walk in, you are instantly hit with the beauty and tranquility of the place. The communal pool is at the front of the hotel and you walk over a small bridge to get to reception. The check-in and checkout experience is the only part of our trip that underwhelmed. It felt very transactional and not a lot of feeling from the member of staff. We arrived around midday and couldn’t access the villa until 3pm (which was as expected so no issue there) but there was no explanation of our surroundings to help us to understand where we could eat, what we could do, the pool, spa etc. It wasn’t a bad experience, but it definitely left us wanting a bit more . When we did get access to our Duchess Villa, we found an issue with the Expedia listing that had specified that there were 2 beds in the room, when in fact there was just 1. Reception this time were extremely helpful and within an hour or so, we had been moved and upgraded to the sensational 3-bed Villa Bali. This is without doubt one of the finest villas I’ve ever seen, with amazing decor, a great outdoor space and more space than we could ever need! You communicate with reception via WhatsApp (you can go and speak to them too of course) which was handy for any questions you had, and also to arrange times for housekeeping etc. The staff who we interacted with throughout, were all extremely friendly and despite the luke warm check-in experience, reception were fantastic for the rest of the stay. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice and eggs/omelettes to order. Fiona (Manager) is regularly mentioned in reviews and I can see why. She came to say hello at breakfast and knew who we were and that we’d had a problem with the Villa. She also kindly helped with dinner reservations in La Caleta on our second night. She and her team made us feel very welcome throughout our stay, so thank you. We made use of the pool and spa facilities at the sister hotel, Royal Rivers, and while Royal Gardens is stunning, Royal Rivers is something else. There are 2 pools, and with 1 on the roof and another on the level below which is one of the most relaxing spots I’ve ever had the fortune to relax in. I’d highly recommend a visit, not least to the pool and spa which is also incredible. La Caleta is a 20-25 min walk or €5 in a taxi, and you have to visit Char for dinner, but you’ll need to book! All in all, we had an excellent stay and I’d highly recommend staying here

Perfect choice

Absolutely perfect, great position between golf courses, amazing rooms with plunge pools. The manager was brilliant, attentive and genuine. All the staff were polite and attentive. The decorative attention to detail is great, felt very at home here and will return

Fantastic experience

Fantastic service and the villas are really, really nice. Small, quiet hotel with beautiful interal design. Can strongly recomend this hotel. Close to a golf course and about 20-25 min walk to a very nice beach and restaurants.

5 star through and through

Amazing well appointed villa in a truly beautiful setting. Gorgeous spa and pool. A villa with the services of a hotel. Staff extremely helpful. 5 mins by taxi from restaurants or 30 min walk Really enjoyed breakfast and optional evening meals taken at the hotel. Superb service great choice and beautifully presented food. Recommended!
