Stayed at the end of May for 4 nights on the 3rd (best) floor with views over the sea. The hotel was very quiet and relaxing around the pool, plenty of sun beds and umbrellas, the sun beds are uncomfortable well worth the €1 for a padded mattress Room was clean and comfortable with a free fridge and payable air conditioning. The bathroom has a shower, but the curtain doesn’t go round it so the water run into the bathroom room drain, maybe it’s a Greek thing. Breakfast had a simple selection of foods, never left feeling hungry, the cheese cake was delicious. The walk to the bars and restaurants was less than 10 minutes and there is a small supermarket over the road from the hotel.
We have just spent 10 days at the Paradise Beach. From reading previous reviews I think we knew what to expect from this hotel... for the first night we were in a room on the 2nd floor, with the promise of being moved to a 3rd floor room for the remainder of our stay. The reviews were right - the 3rd floor is the place to be! Our room had the most fantastic view, it was clean and we had fresh towels every day. Towards the end of our stay we had an issue with a blocked drain in our bathroom and this was sorted out. The breakfast was very limited and hardly any variety each day which was a bit of a shame really. However, the pool was great and if you wanted a dip in the sea it was only a few yards away. There were plenty of restaurants, bars and supermarkets nearby. We especially enjoyed The Green Frog and Thomas and Elena’s Beach Bar! We had a great holiday and the weather was of course fabulous. If and when the Paradise Beach is fully refurbished/updated then it would definitely be worth a higher rating.
Our stay at this hotel was ok, 7 nights. The location of the hotel is very good, right on the beach, not even in the center but still close enough. We had a room on the ground floor of the hotel with sea view. Inside the room everything is pretty old, but very clean. They gave us clean towels every day. The reviews read here show that some rooms on the upper floors have been renovated, which is likely to happen with the rest of the rooms. That would be great. Breakfast is not too rich, it would be great if it was diversified. Overall it was okay.
Great location and view
We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks in July. The hotel is towards the end of Argassi, but only a short walk to the local restaurants. We had one of the rooms on the top floor which was a good size, air conditioning, fridge and flat screen TV. The view from the balcony was amazing, overlooking the sea. The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels daily and bedding changed every other day. My only complaint would be the lack of shelving in the wardrobes. Breakfast had a large selection of options but was a bit repetative, but you tend to get that with Greek breakfasts. We were able to get a sun bed each day (although most days they were all gone by 9.00am). They weren't comfortable but you can hire a matress for €1 a day ( worth it). The staff were all friendly and Anna on reception was very helpful. We'll worth considering if you are staying in Argassi.
Hotel is not in the centre of the resort, which suited us. It gave us chance to take a short stroll each night. It is a good size...not too big. We had a room right at the top of the hotel. Size of room was adequate. Room and en suit were basic. There was no plug for us to have a bath until we requested for one. This wasn’t a problem although we were disappointed that there wasn’t a fitting for the shower head so we had to hold it whilst trying to wash at the same time. Views are beautiful. Pool area is clean and tidy. There are plenty of beds. The beach is tiny really, no beds directly on beach by this hotel, but the sea is wonderful to cool down in. Breakfast was not good really. Repetitive and uninspiring. We booked our holiday as separate bookings rather than through a tour operator. It is therefore worth noting that there are few British package holidayers, so fewer people to meet and chat with. It is very easy (& quite cheap) to get a taxi directly from the airport to the hotel.
