Veldig vennlig og serviceinnstilt personale, rolig og avslappet atmosfære. Fin beliggenhet.

We had an excellent vacation staying at Mikro Papigo 1700

great location, great service. We hiked to DragonLake and we did rafting at Voidomatis river. The village is very beautiful. The hotel is great: amazing food, the view from the restaurant is spectacular

True Luxury

What we loved most about MP 1700 was the attention to detail — the little things like laying out blankets in strategic nooks around the property in the evenings when it got a chilly or the fact that there was always a lit candle wherever you turned. We also loved the ambient music in the common spaces, the fresh, clean and delicate scents scattered throughout and the ”Veranda” which serves delicious food and somehow pulls off high-end and unassuming at the same time. And then of course you have the village of MP itself — quiet, relaxing, awe-inspiring views (make sure you check out the Voidamtis , and the friendliest most welcoming staff you can imagine. Add all these components together and what you get is an experience of true luxury which I have experienced only in a handful of hotels around the globe.

Perfect weekend escape

The facility is a perfect combination of the traditional stone built structure with modern amenities. The view from the rooms with balcony is great. Breakfast and food at the Veranda 1700 are good and greatly enjoyed at the idyllic location and setup of the restaurant. Above all, the personnel is extremely kind and helpful!

Unique getaway in quaint village, great mountain walks, good accommodation and better food

This is such an unexpected find in the tiny hamlet of Micro Papigo in northern Greece. It's a genuine attempt to provide a five star hotel experience with really good food in a remote area where the local competition is tiny rooms to rent. I salute them for their efforts. The accommodation is in converted old houses dating back to the 17th century and they are extremely comfortable and well-equipped. The hotel restaurant is part of the slow food movement and so everything is locally sourced and ethically sound plus delicious. The peak times are in May and September, when it's neither too hot or too cold to enjoy hiking through utterly beautiful mountains or swimming in the crystal clear river. This is a destination largely for the active, the access road is steep and the climb to the restaurant ensures you won't have to go to gym that day. I loved it and really recommend it for a three or four day stay.
