Anbefales!
Smart, clean, friendly. Very good modern rooms and good for families. A bit of a steep walk to and from town, so maybe not ideal if you have mobility issues or don't have a hire car. Taxis are cheap though.
Exraordinary family hotel
Extraordinary family hotel with great view. Clean rooms and good service. Nice and variable breakfast. A swimming pool and beautiful surroundings. Very good prices. One of the best places in Alonnisos near the port of patitiri. It offers parking and good internet connection
Very nice hotel with great view!
Nereides is a pleasant hotel to stay. Great hospitallity and good quality rooms and food. The rooms are cleaned daily and are equipped with AC. It is approximately a 10 min walk to the city which has a nice atmosphere. The walk back contains some stairs which require some climbing, but is good to do.
Beautiful large pool and great views
We were met at the port by Nicko who drove us to the hotel which is situated halfway up a mountain between the port and the old town at the top. We were greeted warmly and taken to a room with a balcony overlooking the houses and the sea below. The greatest attraction of this hotel is the very large pool and comfortable and ample seating area around the pool and near the large vegetable garden at one end of it. We had read on this site that there is a restaurant which serves home-cooked meals. This is no longer the case, however some small Greek dishes like Tzatziki and Greek salad and sandwiches are available. We did not have a car and walked down to the port area and back up a couple of times. Takes about 15 minutes and is a combination of path and steps - ok going down but a bit more arduous going up on a hot afternoon. Plenty of restaurants down below. On our last day we headed up to the old town - more arduous a journey by foot at 3pm in the afternoon! Took about half an hour. Lovely views. Wanted a meal around 4.30pm - most restaurants closed but found one open thankfully. This town was destroyed in an earthquake in 1965 so most of the dwellings are new and many are owned by ‘xeni’ - foreigners, I was told - mainly from England. The hotel’s WiFi was a little flaky; the air-con good and the breakfast good. We were driven back down to the port on our departure date.
