Meget vennlig personale, ryddig og rent.

Fin beliggenhet. God frokost. Fine basseng. God service. Velstelt. Meget bra standard. Kort vei til stranda samt til butikker og mange restauranter. Betjeningen var svært imøtekommende, hjelpsomme, serviceinnstilt og vennlige. Anbefaler stedet på det varmeste.

Koselig hotell og fin hage

Var her mars 2015. Det var et ålreit hotell med lettvinn beligennhet til butikker og spisesteder. Koselig personale. Frokosten var veldig god og variert. Aircondition annleggene var på tide å skifte ut. Greie basseng. Så ingen kakkerlakker og bra renhold. Godt utgangspunkt for øy loffing, shopping og god mat😀

Great honeymoon, Average hotel

My wife and I are at Deevana Resort on night 13 of our stay, and we check out in a few days. After reading the reviews and communicating many times with the resort staff before our arrival, we developed many expectations that have not been met. On the whole, the resort and the hotel are clean, bright and open, and basic needs are met. But, given that this is our honeymoon and that holidays like this are a once-in-a-lifetime experience, we think there are many things that could be better. Positives: -Krabi is great, and we've really enjoyed getting to know local people and exploring the surrounding area. We've had exceptional adventures, and this is a great location for finding fun shops, great food, beautiful beaches, easy transportation outside of town, and a generally laid-back atmosphere. -Daily housekeeping, which always provides new toilet paper, towels, and water. -A lovely display of towels shaped into swans and flower petals on our bed upon our arrival. -Enjoyable main pool, which is usually warm with plenty of places to sit. -Lovely big bathtub in the second room porch after we paid for an upgrade. -Comfortable bed. -Good, large shower with two shower heads. -Location is quiet, but close enough to walk to beaches, restaurants, and the night market. -Tuk-tuks and taxis reliably nearby. -Beach bags and beach towels are provided in the room, and those are very handy. Negatives: -We were disappointed to have a small room with no storage space for a very long stay. After negotiation with the reception staff, we were able to pay quite a lot for an upgraded room (4,500 baht total). The storage is still severely lacking: we have two open shelves and one bar with 10 hangers for two of us for 16 days. We've since learned of two couples who were upgraded for free without asking. -We were woken up one morning by a very persistent employee who insisted we answer the door even though we yelled that we were still sleeping. After answering, she handed me a pile of towels and two new water bottles. We didn't realize until later that in the pile of towels was a bag of clean laundry that was not ours. When we returned the mystery laundry to the front desk and explained that it was frustrating to be woken up for items that weren't even ours, there was no apology or explanation. -We were excited to have a quiet day by the pool one morning, and set ourselves up on two poolside lounges. It wasn't until another couple arrived a few hours later that the person staffing the pool area pulled out cushions for their lounges. We had to then ask him for cushions for our lounges. This sounds insignificant, but it almost felt like a purposeful oversight, especially when supplying others with cushions didn't prompt cushions for us. -Many reviews indicate that a manager met with guests to ask about their stay. We've not been contacted by anyone. -There is a second pool at the resort and a poolside restaurant, which previous reviews raved about. These both appear closed, though there was no mention of that to us when we checked in, or since. -We ate breakfast at the hotel breakfast buffet once, and will not again due to the price. It was 360 baht each, which seems very high for what is offered. There is a coffee machine that produced overly bitter Americanos that were not high quality at all. There was not gluten-free bread readily available, and while the staff were responsive when we requested it, the bread was very hard and bland. The fruit was watery and some of it seemed poor quality. Given the price, we expected excellent coffee and more enjoyable food, along with more gluten-free options (which we were led to believe would be available). -One of the reasons we chose Deevana Resort for our honeymoon was for the exceptional customer service that previous reviews have described. While we have found staff to be respectful, only a few employees have appeared to go out of their way to ensure a positive experience for us. Not apologizing for the early wake-up/mistaken laundry situation (or even acknowledging that it was an error), not providing lounge cushions for us until specifically asked are two examples of how we generally feel as though we're inconveniencing the staff by being here. It is not a nice feeling, and we have wondered several times if having a gay couple staying here is uncomfortable for the employees. We are not an overly demonstrative couple, and we feel that we have been respectful in our presence and kind and outgoing in our conduct with employees, so we are a little confused by feeling less welcomed than other guests.

A lovely quiet place to stay

We stayed here at the end of May beginning of June and absolutely loved the place .... Very quiet with very friendly staff ... About a 15/20 minute stroll into Ao Nang but lined with restaurants en-route if you do not want to venture very far ... If I had any criticism it would of been nice if there was a little more natural light in the room ... The window is a floor to ceiling slim design .... don't let this put you off though .. We didn't use the restaurant facilities as we prefer trying local places out and about. The pool was lovely and quiet ... Overall I would definitely recommend the Krabi Resort .... Thank you

Must-visit hotel in Krabi

Let’s start with the amazing
so the Deevana complex is split into two hotels, the Plaza and the Resort. Our stay included breakfast, with this being hosted at the Plaza rather than the Resort. And boy were we glad. The restaurant manager, Kong, is one of the best examples of customer service delivery I’ve ever had the pleasure to encounter. He is attentive, kind and really made our stay special. A lot of people in the industry could learn from him, and we were sad to say goodbye. The breakfast was really good, and we had lunch at the restaurant once (on a 3 night stay), which was excellent. Try the mango smoothie – it is the best I’ve had in Thailand! It’s also important to note that the smaller Resort is Adult Only and has it’s own pool, which while we were there was really very quiet and so relaxing. A good place for some R&R. The Plaza on the other hand is kid friendly, so is a little more busy
Almost as good as Kong, was joining Farut at the gym for classes. He really is a great teacher and well worth stopping in. We did a morning Circuit Class with him and then did the Muay Thai beginner class. It was amazing – Farut is an ex professional MT fighter and it really shows. He put us through our paces, and we are just so grateful to him for teaching us, but also for being such a nice, thoughtful guy! A quick note to the hotel manager that it would be great to have a bit more Muay Thai equipment in the gym – my husband’s gloves were too small and mine were too big, since there are not really any options. Onto the good. Our hotel room (we were in 1504) was on the top floor, the bed was super comfy, bathroom great and standard amenities everything you would need. However, they could easily have changed the layout of the rooms to accommodate a bit more hanging/storage space. Not a huge issue, but the kind of thing that changes a place from good to great. I know that others haven't had an issue with wifi, but ours seems to be a little spotty - we occasionally were kicked off and found it hard to reconnect. But saying that, streaming was also ok. Some have said that it’s a longer walk into town but we honestly felt it was maximum 10 minutes at a moderate pace, and really loved that it was out of town. It meant that it was quieter than all the hotels on the main strip and you weren’t bothered by the longtail boats or the craziness of the beach area. Actually, it was so wonderful to have little frogs and birds and cats on the property and made it feel very secluded and relaxing. Last, but very not least, we also wanted to say thank you to Mad, on the front desk. He, like all the wonderful staff at Deevana, was friendly, helpful and a pleasure. We were sorry to leave Deevana, and hope to return one day!
