Hyggelig personale, stort området med god plass

Informasjon om aktiviteter. Bedre rengjøring i spiseområdet. Opplevde skitne glass og tallerkner, samt skittens på stoler og ikke tørket av gammelt mat og drikke på bordet.

Rommet var meget bra, fantastiske strender og bademuligheter.

Maten som var med i "all inclusive" var standard og ikke noe spesielt. Vi ble skuffet over alt "all inclusive" ikke gir tilgang til alle rettigheter - restauranter, deler av stranda, solsenger etc. Uklar beskrivelse fra hotellet hva som lå i vår pakke.

Lite variasjon i maten, så man ble matlei i løpet av uka. Ville foreslå at all inclusive gjalt flere restauranter, eller at de byttet tema dag for dag. Ble litt kjedelig da det ikke var noen form for un derholdning eller andre aktiviteter, bortesett fra bandet i beach baren. Dyre utflukterr, da det bare var basert på individuelle utflukter. Hadde vært bedre med bussutflukter, slik at man hadde flere muligheter til å få sett og opplevd Oman.

Disappointment

I have been thinking about writing and not writing for a long time, -The hotel is mediocre -Food is medium quality -Hotel is very far from city center and taxi is very expensive -the staff is indifferent -and when we go to sea,they are constantly watching the ladies,there was a black employee in particular,yasseri -yasser do not remember. ın short ,with his perverted gaze,it bothered us very much.

Very good with small minus

I would recommend the hotel for everybody, very nice place, lots of space for walking, service excellent, food was good (4,5/6). Beach clean and near hotel. The only minus would be Air Condition in the room which doesn't smell good.

It was perfect place for relax. Very nice hotel. Staff - "Keep smiling" people. Food still fresh and very tasty vegetable, a less fruit :-( No so much see food, but very nice fish evening on the beach. I never seen so clean place. I hope I will come back. Turquise see.

Hotel, service and beach extraordinary, all-incusive-food mediocre

Some thoughts about rotana resort in salalah. We stayed here for 2 weeks just before the corona closing. All in all a very nice place to be, an extraordinary effektive and friendly service, comfortable rooms and a very well maintained resort. And an absolutely stunning beach. But there are some segments which do not reach 5 star level. The biggest handicap is the provided food. The lunch and dinner offers in the main restaurant are - with some exceptions – underdeveloped. The exceptions: a solid variety and quality of salads and deserts. Once and a while a very well barbecued chicken. Once there was a truly indian spicy Daal. The main impression of the indian and arabic dishes is firstly lack of spices and secondly poor meat quality with beef, fish and lamb. The quality at the beach restaurant and at silk road is slightly better, a quality you would at least expect as a standard of an all inclusive voucher in the main restaurant. Lamb biranyi in silk road was not tight, the grill fish was nothing special. At beach restaurant the beef filet was extraordinary tender, even if always the same sauce is used for all steaks. Contrary the steak from the barbecue at the main restaurant you hardly can chew. Okay is the pasta station, even if there are truly more than 2 pasta dishes one could offer. But I think the concept is to try to persuade all inclusive guests into your additional dinner offers to make more money. We didn't use the barbecues becauce we do not like sitting on benches like on campgrounds. We know dinners at the beach, but in more attractive settings. They seam not very well accepted anyway. We had holidays in different 5 star hotels like Sheratons and Hiltons in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras al-Khaimah. Not yet in Rotana Hotels, where you got all inclusive buffets with whole rosts and huge barbecued fishes freshly portioned on your plate. Hotels where you get some peanuts with your drink inclusive. My propsal is: optimize the prize of all inclusive, but offer solid food to not frustrate all inclusive guests, thats obviously your main guest group. Why not open the hall besides the reception for all inclusives? Why is there no decoration at the tables near the beach restaurant. There ist a strange light managment there and you are blinded by a very bright spot near the swimming pool. Yes, there is a sauna, but no place to rest afterwards. The music band you hired is quide good, just missing alternatives.

Salalah Rotana Resort 03/2020

Excellent position, stuff and service. Nice and clean beach with all necessary services. They need newer bikes for rental or at least make a service on them. Restaurant will be better with bigger offer of fresh local product (especially fruits).
