Unnecessarily highly hyped
Apart from access to beach, there is nothing special in this hotel. Food was highly expensive and not at all worth of the price they are charging. Staff was definitely courteous. Tv was there just for namesake, not working, had to call many times to get it fix. Even though food was rubbish but manager was not ready to listen. I will definitely not stay again in this property, will go for seashell instead.
Im fan of O hotle ,I think it's my 2nd home, Staff is like a family they r always at ur service I love O, lovely sea beach pool spa I go once in 2 month n only go in O hotle the bestest property. Mr G M is amazing person he takes care of all d guests staying in O hotle . Deepa at d front desk very helpful even other staff all r too good including room service boys .
Excellent hotel ran by an excellent manager and his beautiful staff
This hotel ticks all the boxes We have travelled Goa extensively but this place leaves others standing Carmo the general manager is a genuinely good man and you can tell he is respected by his staff by the way they work for him with beautiful smiles on there faces Unfortunately I don’t know all the staff names but a few I do So Deepar on reception went out of her way to make our stay wonderful Sid and Brian on the pool bar are very good at there job Viswash in the dining room is a genuinely lovely young man Bhagwan the pool man does everything he can to make you comfortable The ladies who keep the outside tidy do a fab job and always have smiles on there faces The rooms in my experience are large airy with great AC The hotel has a small gym where you can run and lift weights The hotel is in the quieter end of Candolim but lots of places to find good food and drink One thing that I hope Indian guests will read and take note of The staff here are not servants , they are human beings like you are please treat them like human beings as they do a great job to keep us all happy and comfortable Also for the Indian guests please try and get dressed before coming for breakfast as I don’t think your old pyjamas or worse topless fat body’s appeal to anyone But hey it’s your country so what do I know None of the issues I mention about Indians who must be Royalty judging by there demeanour diminished our enjoyment of this hotel In fact it made it more fun viewing other cultures and I love to do that Great Hotel Great Manager Great staff and I will be back
Beautiful scenic hotel with friendly staff
Whenever we visit Goa, we stay at the O hotel. Convenient in location, beautiful surrounding. With staff who are always very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Goa
O Hotel, Candolim
Hotel benefits from its own access to e beach which is quieter at this end of Candolim. Shacks should be ready for opening next next week (20/11). The Calamari is on the beach next to the hotel and provides good food. The shacks will be cheaper when they open. Hotel is good and clean. Staff excellent. Breakfast is a buffet with fruit, breads and Indian food. You can also have eggs/omelettes made. Restaurant and bar on an evening was quiet but we heard good reports. The access to the beach is basic as are the toilets serving the pool. Beach workers will get you a sun bed for 100 outside hotel access and drinks. Anjuna market on Wednesday is worth a trip. Go early as hot! Taxi was 1500 return. Finally, there are stray dogs probably everywhere in Goa including on the Candolim beach. They are not a problem at all and really appreciate being given food. There is a small group on the beach outside of the hotel. If you don't want to interact they don't bother you but if you are a dog lover and engage especially with food they are very friendly. The supermarket sells dog food in the centre of Candolim. They are polite when being fed but one or two are very nervous and stay back from the others. It therefore needs 2 people with 1 feeding the majority as a distraction while the other makes sure the timid ones don't miss out! Overall great holiday in the winter. Nice food and drinks, people lovely and some needy well deserving dogs to keep you busy if you are that way inclined.
