Komfortabelt, rent og romslig. Utmerket sted
Et godt sted å bo selv om det er et godt stykke fra sentrum eller West Bay forretningsområde. Rommet (en executive-suite) var veldig romslig og pent innredet, med flott bad, omkledningsrom og stor stue egnet for møter eller presentasjoner. Restauranten var veldig bra, og Admiralis er en fin bar hvor lokalbefolkningen og gjestene samles for kveldsmoro. Ikke billig, men bedre enn den trendier 'W'.
My stay was amazing for 7days in quarantine. The food was good. My request was arrived on time. Thank you to Wony and Ismael for takering care of me. I deffinetly to recomand JW hotel to visit in middle of city. I will visit soon I have
First Class All the Way!
While most of the world is quite busy working to recover from COVID 19, Qatar is busy vaccinating its population and under heavy construction in preparation for the 2022 World Cup. Qatar is quickly becoming a notable destination for travelers to discover Qatar and explore the Middle East. One place that is not under construction because it is already in perfect condition is the Ritz Carlton, Doha. I have had the pleasure of staying here for the past few days on a work assignment. They called a few minutes ago to ask again if there is anything they can do to make my stay better, and honestly, there is not. Everything has been perfect. The room is quite comfortable and my ocean view is wonderful. I can see efforts underway in the distance to reclaim land from the sea and create more beautiful marinas and ocean side venues. The Ritz Carlton here has all of the charm of every Ritz Carlton property and more. While it is true that during COVID many things, like the pools and saunas are not allowed to be open. But I went to see them and as soon as this is over, luxury awaits. Let me identify three superstars. First of all we were greeted by Akansha Malhotra who gave us a wonderful tour of the facilities, and ensured that every detail has been perfect. Next, insomuch as I have been working in my room some days, I noticed that the same young man was cleaning my room each day. Today I talked to him a bit. His name is Sangden. He has done a superb job, and should get a master’s degree in customer service. He even went through the coffee pods to try to identify which flavors I liked best so he could be sure I had plenty of them. My room couldn’t be more comfortable or immaculate. And finally there is a young lady that has brought my dinner each night. Her name is Samana. She is a bright shining star and a definite keeper. Every detail of my meals here have been served hot, tasty, and more than I could eat. Clean, comfortable, safe, and enjoyable are all words I would use to describe the great experience I have had here at the Ritz Carlton, Doha. Come see for yourself.
Poor communication and service
We always book and enjoy dining in B-lounge restaurant. Also always recommending it to friends and many went there because of our advise. On Tuesday 30 March we went there for dinner. All went well food ,service and the weather was great at the terrace. So what went wrong then: Part 1: We asked for the bill, Gave the waitress 2 vouchers Nojoom points (300 QAR ) plus my credit card for the balance of the bill. She went and came back saying : Sorry we don't accept Nojoom points here . I told her pls check again as personally I used twice before. A manager came and also confirmed to me that I cannot use the points here. I clearly asked her: Are you 100 % sure as I will call the hotel next day and really complain if this is wrong. She confirmed that she is sure and cannot accept the points. Part 2: Called the hotel on Wednesday morning and asked for FB department, the lady answered and I did explain to her what happened with me, to my surprise she said I really don't know what is Nojoom points? and she will call back for a reply( she asked is this a complimentary voucher or what exactly). same day afternoon they called back saying still we don't have answer for Nojoom points usage and we will get back to you. Next morning (Thursday) a reservation supervisor called and saying after checking the details, glad to inform you that you can use Nojoom points in B lounge. I told her what about the (300 QAR )I had to pay instead of using my points that I already have and chosen Ritz to redeem it . Until today there is no REPLY. Honestly its strange that the staff has no product knowledge about a program the hotel chosen to be part of, also it took 48 hours to advise that I can use the points. Also its a bad feeling that you feel you are begging them to redeem your points, that I could have chosen any other vendor to redeem it in easy and smooth way. Finally, I'm simply disappointed and thought it would have been handled in more professional way which is what you expect for the name RITZ. Thank you

An unparalleled guest experience throughout my stay. The in-room dining staff (IRENE, BENA and MEHTI) are all exceptional! And a special acknowledgment to my room attendant (ALI), who has gone above and beyond to make my visit as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Kudos for the top-notch customer service!
