Disappointing

This hotel was advertised as a 4 star boutique hotel with jacuzzi and snack bar. In reality this hotel is old and in need of refurbishment. After speaking to some of the staff the owners are renovating the hotel bit by bit. I did not see any evidence of renovations. The rooms are very basic and old with basic showers, no mirror, and no shelf in bathroom to put your stuff on. Although the one cleaner they had worked her socks off cleaning inside and out every day. The rooms were not spotlessly clean. Whilst we were there for 2 weeks the pool never got cleaned as a result the outer rim of the pool was dirty. The snack bar only served toasted sandwiches and had a limited drinks selection. The jacuzzi doesn’t work and only some of the sun beds have a cushion to lay on. The pool area is very tired and uninviting. No effort is made to make the pool area better for guests. The staff appear to me to be polite and helpful but are well aware that the hotel is not as advertised and are probably used to people complaining which happened a lot throughout our stay. In my opinion this hotel is not worth the money that they charge due to the lack of facilities that work and the fact that it is in real need of refurbishment. The website does not give a true indication of what this hotel is like in reality.

Totally recommend !

We were here for two weeks and it was so lovely. The reception staff were outstanding and couldn't have been any more helpful. They booked a quads, taxis, and trips and gave us advice on where to go. The hotel itself is clean and simple . It is a good 10 minutes walk from the beach and when we were there there was no bar open at night time.

Nice and Supportive Staff; Clean room and public area

Have visited to Santorini and enjoy four days here. Our hotel is Thera Mare Boutique Resorts. The hotel room and the public area are all very clean. The breakfast is nice placed and fresh. The staff Miss. Evelina and Miss Mariam are quite kind and supportive. We really appreciate the nice services and clean & safe environment of the hotel.

Fabulous staff

Gotta recommend this hotel. It’s cheap (for Santorini), and the rooms are basic. But the staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful, more so than anywhere I’ve ever been before. We arrived last week, late at night/early morning, but within 2 minutes of asking the following morning , extra pillows and a kettle were delivered. Free breakfasts and thoughtful free bottles of water by the poolside. Had a bit of a smelly drainage issue towards the end of the week, despite the cleaner scrubbing her hardest, and a vanilla atomiser was immediately delivered, with free cocktails. On the last day, and we are sitting by the pool until we have to go to the airport this evening. Complimentary spritzers and beers delivered to us, plus free transport and a massage treatment each this afternoon to apologise. Above and beyond, how lovely of them here x

Bad hotel

Poor quality, cheap and worn materials, very small, almost tiny, bathroom, absence of hot water, when we complained we got a generic answer of the hot water temperature setting, towels were worn/overused. Breakfast was almost an idea, just a tiny portion of a basic breakfast with low quality. To conclude Is a bad hotel and for sure is not a 4 star hotel, i would described as a hostel with separate rooms.
