Fantastic hotel,would highly recommend to family and friends.

We stayed at the hotel for 14 nights. From start to finish the stay was wonderful. Hotel is lovely,and all the staff brilliant. Breakfast was very nice,great variety of food. Location right beside the beach is amazing,also very nice pool at hotel... towels provided by the hotel for beach and pool.

A sunshine stay

What a fantastic location and the rooms are spotless.The pool is a bonus and the breakfast choice has something to suit everyone. Staff are friendly and helpful especially Eva on reception. Would definitely recommend if staying in Kamari.

Can't wait to visit this hotel again!

Cons: * Part of the restaurant/bar staff weren't so into customer service. It felt weird not to get even a hello sometime even we met everyday. We got a feeling that we weren't so important customers for them because we didn't eat in the restaurant. Sometime it felt like the hotel and the restaurant were even separate "companies" * Umbrellas weren't practical which is such a shame! During 12pm-2mp it was already difficult to find free sunbeds and if there was, those were in the shade because you couldn't lower the umbrellas. Sunbeds are very close to others so it's also impossible to move them Pros: * Hotel staff! <3 We felt super welcome and they did everything to help us if needed. Reception staff were sooo nice, cheerful, had a great sence of humor and they just made us feel so good! We got a feeling they really cared about our stay there * Rooms and cleaning - waoh! I stayed in two rooms because my friends joined me later and that point we changed to a bigger room. So, both of the rooms were very nice, spacious and modern but not too much (I like more charming and picturesque hotels/rooms and this was it!). Best showers I've seen in Greece, always warm water and didn't need to wait water to flow. Cleaning was precise, towels and sheets changed everyday (optional so it's also ecological)... and finally, the view to the sea was spot on! Loved it! * Also the best breakfast I've had in this kind of smaller hotel in Greece. Lots of hot and cold varieties, hot dishes were not the same every morning, plenty of fruits, sweet things... 5/5 * Pool are is nice and clean, enough windy so it didn't get too hot there even in July. Very good sunbeds! Pool bar wasn't open the hours they advertised (opened later) but that wasn't a problem since you can have your own snacks and drinks when it's closed * Wifi was working well everywhere * You get beach towels with a deposit of five euros and can change those in reception * Location...couldn't be better in Kamari! Even it's so close to everything, never heard any noice while sleeping And one more time, I can't help it: BIG thank you for the hotel staff! You are the best! <3 also I want to send special thanks to the young guy who is serving people at the beach, your attitude is perfect for customer service and we had great laughs with you!

The Best of the BEST!

Our recent stay at the Sunshine Hotel in Santorini was one that we shall not forget anytime soon. The hotel Manager Dimitris Pouftas sets the bar at 5 STAR with his delightful demeanor, extraordinary service and attention to detail for his guests. He is always ready to help with recommendations for places to eat, attractions to see and an extra adapter or hairdryer if needed. The hotel has beautiful amenities including a gorgeous pool, wonderful restaurant and bar and one of the best breakfast buffets to start your day! The rest of the hotel staff are a true reflection of their manager- offering an experience that is the best of the best in service with a smile! Located on the beach and in perfect proximity to everything beautiful Santorini has to offer -I highly recommend Sunshine Hotel. Enjoy!

Easy BREEZY at the Sunshine

On the ocean side of Santorini, it's a lovely and peaceful area - very little auto traffic. The staff is delightful at every turn, but the manager Dimitris is who made the stay there so lovely. Accommodating, friendly, really likes his job and it shows in how he takes care of guests, offers great recommendations of where to eat baklava (Santo Fresh Bakery) and fresh octopus (at Psaka)... he was the icing. If you're a female who likes to have some sense of style to your hair, the blow dryer is basically a hand dryer, so I suggest taking your own and an adaptor. HowEVER, once again, Dimitris came through with a hand held, high speed dryer and also loaned us another adaptor for my friends rollers. Also, many places now are a bit sparse on bath amenities. Hair conditioner seems to have largely gone by the wayside, so again, for gals and probably some guys... byo detangler. And wash cloths. Many European hotels don't do the American version of that, and those giant combo cloths just don't do it for me. I carry a small travel one just in case. The breakfast overall is good, the eggs are generally not hot, and dining out on the patio is lovely, however it was very windy and relatively cold while we were there, so that exacerbated the issue with cold food. Very good coffee, crazy good Greek yogurt. The pool is scenic and inviting, but again, didn't get to take advantage of that because of cold winds. On the beach, lovely beach chairs, grassy umbrellas and great view, but again... we hit some chilly weather.
