Fantastic location

We loved this very small and very friendly greek hotel, the Staff could not do enough for me and my little girl, helping us with bags to our room and coach and a very warm welcome at breakfast every morning. They even gave us maps , bus times and area information, very well thought out ideas We had a double room at the front ,Street facing with balcony, it was very clean and toilet roll well stocked and soap on arrival . Towels were changed most days and beds made for us really kind. We loved our room as we like people watching was nice to relax and we had a sea view , we slept like babies. The breakfast was a typical Greek spread : bread, eggs, jam,cheese ,salad, fruit, pancakes, cereal,yog, plenty to go round and lovely fresh coffee . Lovely staff saying kalimera what more could you want. There were miserable guests who obviously were expecting a cooked breakfast but they obviously have never been to Greece. The ladies who ran hotel were so kind to me and my little girl we felt very welcome and relaxed nothing was too much trouble . The street the hotel was on was central in kamari, well connected, 2 min from beach, tavernas and shops . Fantastic crepere next door quickys and gyros. The shops were all independent and lovely littke items being sold like jewellery, volcanic items and pictures was fabulous. Typical Greek 2 star accommodation white washed , pink flowers and lovely sea view for us on front. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back. Would 100 % percent visit again , we paid a low rate for this hotel and its a no frills greek base just what the doctor ordered . Xx

Disappointing hotel

Booked a standard double ground floor with easyjet. Arrived and shown to first floor room (room 9) which we assumed was like for like booking. Room very basic with old desk, chair and side table. Single flatpack style wardrobe. Worst of all double bed was wedged up against wall with wardrobe at bottom of bed meaning there was no way to get to toilet at night without climbing over my sleeping partner. Got little sleep all week facing a brick wall. Balcony tiny with narrow, uncomfortable chairs - table and balcony dirty and not cleaned all week. Nowhere to store suitcases. Breakfasts as basic as you could ever dream of. Cheapest spam and cheese you can buy, boiled eggs and Greek yogurt, basic cereal, cheap sponge cake. Squash rather than juice. We ended up buying breakfast out for most of the week. Yes accommodation is 200m from beach but there is nothing else good about this hotel. On our last day, we spoke to a couple who had also booked double room through easyjet and they were in ground floor room which sounded much better than ours. If you do sadly visit this hotel, turn down room 9 and be prepared to buy breakfast out.

Perfect Location

Lovely clean apartments, perfect location being only 5 mins walk to the beach. Breakfast served between 8am and 10am Supermarket, bakery and restaurants close by. Wifi, safe and air on included. What makes these apartments special is the friendliness and helpfulness of Dimitra and her mother Maria. Would highly recommend and we will hopefully return in the future. Disappointed

After reading all the glowing reviews we were somewhat disappointed with this hotel however it was not all bad so this is a bit of a mixed review. I will start with the bad and finish on a high note. We arrived tired and stressed after the trauma of Manchester airport to find no one in reception. We called out, rang the bell but no reply. After about ten minutes a lady arrived she was very pleasant and showed us to our room. The only information we were given was a map of Santorini and a note saying breakfast 8am - 10am. As soon as we walked into the room I noticed the shelf on the dressing table was thick with dust as was the headboard. There was a hairdryer with the wrong nozel also thick with dust. My husband suggested we ask for a cleaner but I didn't want to have to wait while a cleaner was found so just cleaned up myself. The room looked onto a nice little balcony that was on street level but the problem here was that the curtain hardly fitted and the slightest draught caused it to move. There were wooden shutters outside but a bit of a bother to open and shut everytime we wanted to change. As with the previous review we did not have the promised tea and coffee Making facilities and the bathroom was in definite need of a refurb. The window in the bathroom was clear glass and overlooked by a balcony. There was no curtain so my husband improvised by hanging a shirt on a coat hanger over the window. Now for the good news. The location is excellent so close to bars and restaurants with two supermarkets just across the road. On the corner is an excellent takeaway and ice-cream shop. There is a fridge in the room and the wi fi is excellent. Safe deposit box is free as is the air-conditioning which is very good. A TV is supplied with limited channels. Cleaners came in everyday and the breakfast was very good. So in a nutshell a basic hotel but good enough to get your head down for the price but we would not stay there again.

Basic accommodation, great location.

Just returned from a week staying at Lefkothea Hotel. The hotel is clean, staff friendly but I wouldn't give it the glowing review that others have. The best thing about the hotel is it's location. Only a 2 minute walk to the beach, it has everything you could need within reach. Lovely shops and bars, a couple of supermarkets just around the corner. The bus stop is also just around the corner The breakfast is simple but a reasonable choice. I can highly recommend the homemade fig jam...it is gorgeous. What let this hotel down for us was our room. Their website states the hotel has been totally refurbished in 2020. The outside most certainly looks as though it has but our room needed a new bathroom refurb for sure. The taps both on sink and in shower were rusty and corroded. Plastic mirror, shelves, and accessories, all of which we were afraid to touch in case they fell off the wall, one of which already had. No kettle/tea coffee making facilities as advertised, although we did ask for a kettle and were given one straight away. Other reviewers suggest that bed linen is changed daily - it isn't, although this is not something that bothered us at all. I wouldn't expect them to be. The maids did clean and empty bins daily and linen was changed once. Lamps positioned in the room but no where to plug them in so they should really have been removed, we didn't need to use them. And nothing on our balcony to hang up our wet swimming clothes. Our room over looked a children's play area (didn't look used) and the bus stop beyond. On Loveholidays write up it states their is a lobby bar - there isn't. States private parking and public pool. No pool, but there is a couple of pool bars 10 minute walk away that we used when we weren't at the beach. And only parking we could see is a public car park around the corner but this is expensive. We hired a car for two days and managed to find parking on road easily enough within a few minutes walk away. All in all this is basic accommodation which I guess is reflected in price but the bathroom in our room really let it down for us.
