Kjempefint ferie og fint hotell

Ble veldig godt mottatt når vi kom. Rommet var ikke ferdig rengjort ennå så vi, etter eget ønske, ble geleidet ned til strandpromenaden og en restaurant, Reflexion Sea, som hotellet tydelig samarbeidet med. Der kjøpte vi en god lunsj, og vi ble fortalt at vi kunne leie solstoler gratis hvis vi spiste lunsj der, slik var det visst langs hele strandpromenaden. Vi ble der, på samme plassen, hele uka, god service og kjempegod mat til overkommelige priser. Rommet vi fikk var helt greit, rent og pent, liten balkong, aircondition, tv, kjøleskap og føhner. Suverent! Frokosten var enkel, men god, akkurat som forventet. Fint bassengområde, noe vi brukte lite fordi vi er glad i sjøen. Vi har hatt et fantastisk opphold her på Alitana, og kan virkelig anbefale hotellet !! Takk for oss på nr 304 i perioden 30/7 - 6/8 2016.

Worst experience ever

Unbelievably bad The level of unprofessionalism of the staff members was only topped by their rudeness and unwillingness to help or offer any type of guest service. The beds were really uncomfortable and the air-conditioning was old and unsanitary.

A nightmare

First of all we didn't book this hotel, but we have been assigned here from our first choice which was Atlas boutique hotel. 3 hours prior departure Atlas informs us that by mistake they were overbooked and we would stay for the first night in Iris. Luckily we stayed only one night and honestly it is hard to understand the positive comments about this hotel. The room they gave us was ground floor or better underground for the price of 176 euros. Beside the fact that it was noisy, dirty, and dark the worst part were the ants on the bed who didn't allow us to sleep. We called the night receptionist which didn't speak English so we spent the night awake trying to get rid off the insects. The pillow wasn't a pillow, so thin and hard that was impossible to rest. The breakfast reflected the sadness of the room: poor in quantity and quality. Not clean and tasteless If the room was 40 euros would have been fair...or may be not. Thank you for ruining our arrival in Santorini. PS. The only positive comment goes to the receptionist in Atlas that apologized and was gentle with us.

Nice little hotel

nice little hotel. the rooms were clean and comfortable. the breakfast was good and in my opinion quite plentiful. especially the omelette was really good. very friendly staff. The pool area was quite small, but hardly never full. I can recommed this hotel.

Great place to stay in Santorini!

After five years, my son and I visited Greece again. Santorini is our tenth Greek island and did not disappoint us. Every island has its own soul and discovering new places is really a pleasure for us. Hotel Iris is just right big, renovated, surrounded by a beautiful garden, the pool is across the street, but very clean and quiet. The hotel is a bit away from the beach, restaurants, shops but still everything is very close. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful to all guests, they make no difference. If they can, they help you from the reception (Savas, thank you) to the breakfast room and the cleaning ladies. Breakfast was varied, from fresh fruit, compote, cheese, salami, yogurt, scrambled eggs, croissants, butter, jam, honey, coffee, milk, juices .. (I'm hungry again;) A nice guy takes care of everything there If we were to return to Santorini we would undoubtedly choose the same hotel again. Thanks again to all the staff and good luck in the future. You deserve it!
