Last minute gem of a hotel

Very helpful front desk - Harry. We’re helpful I. Getting us a room at the last minute when all ferries were cancelled. About 10 minute walk into a lovely small town enclosed within walls. Would highly recommend this area. Had to walk to sister hotel for breakfast which was a bit of a trek but well worth it!

Avoid the hotel

We liked the location of the hotel as we were very close to the center. The hotel manager, who was the only person in charge of about 20 rooms, was very friendly and always helpful. We were served with a breakfast in a lunch box which was not good at all. We were not informed about a breakfast box when booking and needed to pay 10 € to receive this bad breakfast. The bath room was slightly dirty from former clients and the furniture and bath equipment was old and not in good condition as well as dirty. Room was agreed to be cleaned every 2 day but either it was not done, or clean towels were forgotten or toilet paper. We needed therefore to ask a lot at the reception about things which is time consuming. Pool very small and the sun beds around are also dirty.

Cool Little Place

This is in a great location a short walk from the chic narrow streets of Naoussa with its many restaurants, bars and shops. The accommodation had everything we needed: comfortable room, reliable wifi, good breakfast, plenty of sitting/lounging areas in the sun or shade and a smallish pool, which was fine for cooling off but of you want a good swim you need to go to the beach. Topped off by friendly service.

Great location, amazing service!

Sunrise is literally a 3 minutes walk far from the centre of Naousa and very close to the public parking. Theodora and Iwanna were extremely helpful during our stay and gave great advice on beaches restaurants and other destinations in the island. They made sure we had our breakfast kept even though we woke up every day late. That’s something you rarely see in such accommodation venues. The only comment I would make about the site is that it needs refurbishment and improvements on the electricity infrastructure. One night the supply kept dropping and we had to sleep with no A/C. Apart from that everything was excellent and especially The staff!

Poor conditions, not worth the value

We visited in August for a family trip. Paid about 2000$ for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment for 3 nights. Upon arrival we were asked if we were told about “the change”?? We ended up being moved to a different location in 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment, with NO Hot Water after 11 am. No refund or discount was ever offered, no apologies, nothing. The shower in the bathroom was only high enough for me (5’3’ or 162 cm) , my children and husband could not fit. On top of that the shower was broken and was a joke. The friendly cleaning service ladies were great but that doesn’t make up for the poor room. The mattress had springs that can injure your spine. The young adults got 2 cots in the kitchen next to the fridge. What a sham.
