A good 3-star hotel trading as 4-star, perfect location right in front of the beach. Get up very early if you want to get one of the beach beds. The man attending the beach (hotel staff) puts towels everywhere reserving them from 5:30am for those who had paid him. Terrible practice and very unprofessional of the hotel to allow him to do this everyday preventing guests to use them. Breakfast is quite good except the coffee that is instant and of poor quality. There is the option to buy better coffee if you want. Rooms are basic (mattress without protector very stained of body fluids and mould, yuk!) but reasonably priced for Mykonos. Staff could smile more.
Last of the season
Our room smells so good and clean when you 1st step in the room! The staff was friendly and helpful in Greek words and pronouncing it properly! There is a bakery to the left within walking distance as well as a bus stop, would recommend using it vs taxi and a laundry facility as well. Tomorrow is the last day for the season and the staff have been very nice and accommodating. I would definitely come back and recommend. Also love you can walk out of the hotel and onto the beach
Lovely hotel right on the beach!
We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay. The Acrogiali is right on the beach with lovely views. Breakfast was included and was ok, nothing special but did the job – our biggest complaint was everything was pretty cold including the bacon and fried eggs! One tip might be that if needed you can get speciality coffees from the bar staff included with the breakfast. There were plenty of sunbeds available during our stay but we were there in October and I doubt there would be enough during busier times. We swam in the sea which was very nice but there was a bit of a problem with jellyfish during our stay resulting in me getting stung. Apparently they have had problems at odd times this year – they think due to climate change which is a great shame. We were also able to use the pool at their sister hotel, The George which is a lovely rooftop area with 2 pools, one of which seemed that it might even be heated as was substantially warmer than the other! Our room was very clean and had a large king size bed and a single in it. There was a lovely hot and specious shower, a fridge, safe and a little area to sit out the front. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in it which for us is always a little disappointing. The ladies on reception were particularly helpful and knowledgeable and helped us with booking a rental car. It is easy to get a bus into Mykonos town from just around the corner, which seem to run like clockwork and costs 1 Euro 80 cents each way. Loved the hotel cats and kittens!
