Beautiful place, wonderful food, great accommodation. The views over the North Aegean to Turkey are stunning. The children loved the infinity pool. Nearby Petra is a charming town (Anaxos the other way not so much...). There's a lovely journey on the little 'village train' (not actually a train) that departs Petra seafront for Molyvos - a stunning romantic place. A final word for Lisa at Little Bird, who made us very welcome (an ex-pat so her English was perfect of course). Money permitting in these uncertain times, we'll be going back next year! Thanks. Bob & family.

Simply The Best

his was our third visit to Lesvos, first time staying at this accommodation. We had previously stayed in villas near by but found them too pricey this year. We picked Little Bird because it has all the elements of private accommodation although with shared pool but with the added benefit of a café. We could not fault the accommodation. Washing machine / dishwasher / cooker / hob along with small appliances and laundry drying facilities. One of the other added benefits is a tap with filtered drinking water. No need to stock up on bottled water so good for the environment. The pool is a good size with poolside showers. There is something more relaxing about floating in a salt water pool whilst gazing out at the ocean - and no chlorine smell !! There are ample sun beds with parasols and the view is amazing. Selection of drinks are served at your sunbed. If you attempt to order at the bar you are advised to return to your sunbed and it will be bought over. The lovely Lisa and her team work exceptionally hard to really look after you to make your stay the best ever. Should you decide to dine in the café – the seating area also shares the amazing view and you will have the opportunity to taste the wonderful menu. Agapi’s omelets along with the rest of her cuisine is simply divine. You can wander down to the calm water’s edge. A little rocky but we saw a family venture in with snorkels. For the time they spent in the water – there is obviously sea life to witness. The gardens are bright and colorful and very well maintained. Depending on the time of year for your visit – there are fruit trees dotted around. We had the benefit of a plum tree right on our terrace. The main town is a nice stroll from the accommodation – either along the water edge or down the road. Restaurants / bars / shops are plentiful and taxis available if you do not wish to walk back. Cannot recommend Little Bird any higher.

PERFECT

The Little Bird has stunning views, wonderful staff and fantastic facilities. We chose this hotel for our honeymoon and it was perfect. Its isolated but still walkable to Petra either down the coast or on the road. We had a car and there is plenty of parking on site. The views of the sunset are fantastic either from the poolside bar (with an amazing cocktail) or one of your balconies. We will return and i dont say that very often.

Absolutely Perfect

We enjoyed a wonderful 2 week family holiday at Little Bird in Lesvos. The location is fantastic - particularly if you hire a car and can easily access Petra and Molyvos (both with great restaurants, lovely shops and sites) and the great beach at Anaxos. Little Bird is a real retreat; the accommodation is first class, the pool area is simply amazing and the staff and quality of food in the cafe is faultless. We fell in love with Lesvos and the vibe and service at Little Bird was a big reason for that. Such a personal service and attention to detail from every member of the Little Bird team - thank you for an unforgettable holiday. Truly 5 star in every aspect.

Faultless

What an absolutely wonderful place. The apartments are beautiful and amazingly well equipped, we didn’t want for anything. We had a lovely private garden which got the sun all afternoon and a terrace which was in the sun in a morning so we could find sunshine or shade any time of the day. The breakfast is delicious (read the menu on their website and your mouth will start to water!) but quite grown up so they kindly did a more simple breakfast for our two year old. The pool area is stunning and the children’s pool is perfect for none swimmers. Everyone was very welcoming, we’d love to return as soon as possible. You can walk into Petra (our children managed it) but walking there and back is a big ask for little legs. Walking along the beach to Petra there are two lovely restaurants on the way (caravan by the sea and Avlaki) both with excellent Greek food. Definitely worth getting a car if for no other reason than it would be a shame not to explore a bit more of this lovely island.
