Helt greit hotell

Pent og rent hotell. Meget lav skillevegg imellom noen av verandaene, lite privatliv der når man føler man deler uteplassen sin med flere fremmede. Vi var fire pers på en bestilling som hadde bestilt to rom, vi fikk rom i hver vår ende av hotellet, de fremmede vi «delte» altan med kom tidligere samme dag. Passerte den bittelille resepsjonen (som vi måtte lete etter ved ankomst om natta) hver gang vi skulle på rommet, ikke alltid resepsjonisten gadd å kikke opp og hilse når vi passerte. Frokosten var veldig bra, resten av måltidene kjøpte vi andre steder da dette hotellet ikke kunne tilby a la carte. Veldig lite barområde med få sitteplasser som for øvrig var de samme stolene som tilhørte bassengområdet, derfor flekkete og til tider våte puter i stolene. Meget bra renhold på rommet, renholdere smite og hilste alltid. Hadde kanskje for høye forventninger til dette hotellet etter anmeldesene, men vi hadde et helt greit opphold.

Boutique

First time in Crete and glad to find this little gem. We were in Room 207, which is on the floor of reception. The room is a fair size and is decorated very nicely with fridge and tea/coffee making facilities (mugs). They also supply slippers and shampoo/conditioner, body lotion, shower gel and a decent hairdryer! Pros: extremely clean, fresh towels everyday, staff very friendly and efficient, I mean all staff from reception, cleaners to the staff in the restaurant to Andreas in the bar. Choice of food. Quiet rooms. Snacks throughout the day Cons: only 2 bottles of water supplied on arrival ( in fridge), view ( as corner room v limited v of sea me being short!) the devision between the room 206 (balcony divider) was less than hip height and no privacy. Beach towels to be put on balcony or chairs to air as nowhere to hang. Food wasn’t hot even when freshly bought out or first in, thou microwave is supplied? Seats were uncomfortable by bar and not a lot of. Would be handy for late rooms to be booked day before but understand the not being guaranteed. Aircon led very bright! My suggestions especially as I booked AI is that the 2 small bottles of water be placed in fridge everyday, the seating by the bar could be made better in the evening if the beanbags went and you had stackable sunbeds during day and at night bought tables and chairs ( even chairs in restaurant were comfy) out so more people would sit at bar rather than in rooms! Supplying a microwave means you know you have an issue with the temperature of food… fix the hot plates to keep the food hot. Saying all this we would love to return so couldn’t of been that bad!

Nice hotel next to the beach

The hotel is placed just across the street from the beach. It has some sunbeds there that gets occupied very early in the morning. Normally not a problem cause literally 2 minutes away there is a bigger area that belongs to a hotel from the same company. Staff is very nice and aim to please the customers. The hotel is very clean everywhere and the room was very nice with a small and cozy balcony. They change your towels every day if you ask the to clean your room. The best from the room apart from the "rain" effect shower is the real double bed, it's not two twin beds put together like in many other hotels and it was very comfortable and with two different pillows for each guest ( a thin one and a thick one). On the bad side our room had a very bad WiFi connection that made us use our data in the end for the whole vacation. Also the breakfast has quite a variety of food but it's the same every day and after three days you really would appreciate some variation.

Gorgeous place with an amazing view.

I've just got back from a week here with family (four women) and we had a great time. When we arrived we were 'upgraded' to the sister hotel Mare Blue and an apartment. However, the rooming wasn't suitable for 4 grown women as there wasn't enough privacy. We spoke to the reception staff on the second day and they were apologetic and understanding and moved us straight back to our original hotel the Mare Boutique. The rooms were very nice and super clean. During our whole stay all the staff were friendly, helpful, and very chatty. We were vegetarians and they tried to provide some dishes for us every meal as Greece isn't well known for meat free dishes! The view is gorgeous and we also spent some time by the pool when the heat wave hit. It is a small boutique hotel so worth knowing that it is nicely quiet and never gets too busy. The only thing that was difficult was that the eating area needed some shade as it could be unbearable (it was all glass). Even the staff seemed to be struggling with the heat glaring through the huge windows. The beach beds are limited outside and frequently became submerged by the sea because of the tide. However, we used the Mare Blue beds and this was fine. A very nice place with brilliant and friendly staff who did all they could to make our stay the best it could be.

Beautiful

Wow what an amazing stay! Beautiful place, beautiful views and amazing staff, service and food. The pool is devine and I eoyld definitely recommend all inclusive. Can not fault this place. Enjoyed every moment.
