Vi bodde her 1 uke i august 19, flott og moderne Hotell men for vår del en del mangler som gjør at vi ikke velger dette stedet igjen. Ved ankomst var det kun utdeling av rom uten spesiell informasjon. Tenkte at da ligger det en mappe eller info på TV men den gang ei. Vi måtte altså ned i resepsjonen enten spørre som vi også gjorde eller trykke på en skjem og finne litt info selv. Spørsmål vdr room service , fikk jeg til svar at det hadde de ikke men det viste seg noen dager senere at det var mulig mot et tillegg. Dette hotellet egner seg vel best som all inkl enn kun frokost eller halvp. Dessverre viste ikke vi dette ved bestilling. Når prisene ved å kjøpe mat og drikke på hotellet ( buffe, all inkl )er like dyrt som hjemme da velger man å spise andre steder. Vi kjøpte lunsj buffe en dag men da var heller ikke drikke inkl så da ble det en lunsj til 400 kr ( kjøp av juice koster 30 kr ,det var kun for all inkl gjester) Drikke i baren ligger nesten 3 g høyere enn utenfor men butikken på hotellet hadde OK priser som vi da benyttet oss av og tok m til basseng og strand. Marmari er ikke et stort sted så begrenset utvalg av restauranter som er OK. Mange små ting som når vi bestilte vask av klær måtte dette leveres og hentes i resepsjonen, vi tok egentlig for gitt at det ble lagt på rommet når det var klart. Vi skulle bestille taxi siden vi hadde booket bord på en fin restaurant 20-30 min unna for å feire bryllupsdag , fikk beskjed at det tok 30 min men etter 1 time fortsatt ingen drosje så vi måtte avbestille vår reservasjon. Da ble det middag på al carte restauranten som gjorde en strålende jobb , der fikk vi mye mat for kr og kjempe hyggelig service ( var jo bare oss )
Bodde på dette helt nye hotellet ei uke fra 31 august 2018. På dette hotellet var det ro og fred som rådet. Her var alt rent og fint, og stillheten kunne nytes til fulle. Vi hadde rom som ikke hadde utgang til basseng, men det gjorde ingenting da hotellet hadde flott bassengområde, med god plass og rikelig med solsenger. Frokosten hermanglet absolutt ingenting, helt topp! Skal vi sette fingeren på noe, så er det at balkongen manglet stoler. Det var to flotte solsenger, med et lite bord imellom. Rengjøringen var meget bra hele uka igjennom. Skulle du inn til Kos by på kvelden, så gikk det buss hver time begge veier. Strandområdet var steinete så vi foretrakk bassengområdet som var helt topp.
We went as a hole family there and enjoyed big time. Food was unbelevible, everything was clean and the location was a perfect mix betweem sight seeing and relaxing. The Team was very polite especially dimitris our favorite waiter
Perfect beach vacation
We stayed in a double room with shared pool. It was beautiful and we can highly recommend it. Included in the room is a safe, a hair dryer and a little fridge. You will also get bathrobes and beach towels. We liked the beach in front of the hotel very much. 2 beachchairs and 1 umbrella is 5€ per day, as the beach doesn't belong to the hotel. The beach is nice and the water has a lovely turqouise color. Down the road are a few supermarkets and restaurants. The bigger supermarket "Constantinos" is about 15 minutes by foot. But there is also a nice little store directly in the hotel with good prices. We went to the á la carte restaurant in the hotel one time. Food and servie were very good, but unfortuately not much choices for vegetarians. The hotel also has a little gym with some dumbbells, a cardio area and three machines for strength training. The spa is nicely designed and offers some massages and beauty treatments. There is a bus station about 2 minutes from the hotel. From there you can get to Kos Town in 25 minutes for 2,10 € one-way. A Taxi to Kos Town or to Zia is 23 € one-way. Overall we want to give a huge compliment to the whole staff of the hotel. They are really doing their best implementing the covid-19 precautions: always desinfecting used chairs and tables, handing out food at the breakfast buffet, wearing their masks the whole day and having a lot of patience with the guests.
Wonderufl design, mostly good service - some issues we did not approve of!
Overall, we have had a pleasant and wonderful stay at the Sentido Pearl Beach Hotel (former Sunprime Pearl Beach). The hotel looks really modern and nice, the staff is very friendly and professional. We also liked the modern design of our junior suite and the hot-tub we’ve had on the patio with a view to the garden and sea. What I love about the hotel is the „no-guests-below-16-policy“. The beach is also wonderful and there are enough beach beds. In the evening we could enjoy wonderful sunsets. Upon arrival we were greeted friendly by the receptionist and we were offered a fresh welcome drink. We expected to be informed about the main hotel facilities by him but we were only checked in quickly. So we had to ask everything. Houskeeping was only upon request during our stay because of covid-19, but the room was thoroughly and well cleaned, when requested. One evening, we asked for two wine glasses for the room, because we didn‘t want to drink out of cardboard cups. Our request was not granted or it was too late already and we were out of the room by the time they called us back. At the wonderful beach, there were always plenty of good beach beds available. But beach beds were an extra 5 €/2 beds, except when you book all-inclusive (we had half-board) I do not approve of such inappropriate costs, found it completely out of place - almost ridiculous. Never before I had to pay for beach beds of the hotel, where I spend my nights and money. It isn’t about the 5€ but in a hotel of this category it feels like rip-off to charge for this at all. Had I known this before booking, the hotel would not have been booked! A complaint about it was heard but uncommented. The staff just pointed to a sign informing about the cost. Even when we arrived at the beach at 2:30 in the afternoon, the money was collected. Also, for stays for only two hours. The food in the hotel was good and various and the waiters very professional and friendly. The restaurant was buffet only. Due to Covid-19, people were not allowed to help themselves. Staff was waiting at the buffet area to assist you with serving. This lead to minor congestions at rare times but it was still acceptable and understandable. It just took some time to get used to it. At the bread corner, there were gloves to open the bread box and take out bread by yourself. I wish they would have applied this for the whole buffet. There was also disinfection gel available at all times. As a vegetarian, I appreciate it, when meet and cheese are displayed on separate plates, which wasnˋt always the case. The choice of vegetarian options were good though. On the last but one day, we heard drilling and hammering through the wall at 7:50 a.m. Why the hotel management allows construction work to take place at this our at a resort where people pay a lot of money to relax from their everyday life, is beyond me. It is unacceptable! I complained with reception. They apologised and informed the construction workers. The noice did not stop immediately, but later, there was a break until around noon. In previous hotels I also experienced constructions, but then we were warned beforehand and they hadn‘t taken place before 10 a.m. and not after 4 p.m, which would be acceptable. I had a full body massage at the hotel spa and was completely satisfied with what the massage therapist did. She was very nice and did an excellent job. The room was moderately but nicely decorated, the light was dimmed and a wonderful and relaxing choice of music - much to my taste - created a relaxing atmosphere. Again, we mainly had a good stay but due to the experience with the wine glasses, the - in my opinion - completely wrong beach bed fee and the unannounced construction at 7:50 a.m., lowered our satisfaction.
