Når du tror det ikke kan bli bedre!

Dette hotellet var en opplevelse i seg selv. Nydelig hotell, super service, fantastisk mat og over all forventning. Når vi sjekket inn på morgenen, ble vi med en gang spurt om vi var sultne og ville ha frokost. Da ble vi kjørt i en lien el bil til frokostsalen, mens bagasjen ble kjørt opp på rommet. Og slik fortsatte det. Rommene var nydelige, med utsikt over hele Middelhavet. Sengene var supergode å ligge i, (her er jeg veldig kresen), og fra glassdusjen kunne man nyte den fantastiske utsikten. Privat pool og herlig romservice gjorde en av kveldene helt spesielle. To ansatte kom opp med nydelig middag og en flaske vin, hvor vi satt alene på terrassen og spiste i bare morgenkåpe og nøt utsikten. Beste "privat" restaurantopplevelse jeg har vært på. På dagtid ved poolen kom betjeningen plutselig med kalde aromakluter, som man kunne kjøle ned ansiktet med. Gode drinker, neverending pool, super rent, solsenger med tykke madrasser, deilig lunsj på taket. Hotellet har også et veldig hyggelig og godt innredet treningsrom, hvor det er glassfasade så du ser utover hele Middhavet mens du trener. Vi hadde ikke all-inklusive, men valgte å spise middag på hotellets tak-terrasse. Profesjonell service hvor du blir spesielt godt tatt vare på, og maten var helt utenom det vanlige. Dette hotellet er den beste opplevelsen vi har hatt på Corfu. Min mann og jeg har feriert på Corfu ca 20 ganger til sammen. Bestill en ferie her, og bare nyt. Mitt beste tips på Corfu.

Another Wonderful Holiday at Marbella Nido

My husband and I finally managed to make it to Marbella Nido for our honeymoon; a holiday we were excited for for a long time! When we arrived, the hotel manager, Amaryllis, immediately recognised us from our previous two stays and gave us a huge warm welcome. We were also upgraded to a Junior Suite with a private pool, which was a generous gesture that we really appreciated. We made sure to start our mornings with a coffee and a dip in the chilly water! Two days in we received a bottle of sparkling wine and a delicious chocolate cake to celebrate our honeymoon, which was lovely. In the restaurant, Achilleas kept the buffet running smoothly and recommended us the best desserts. A special mention must go to the lovely Christina, who also remembered us from our previous visits and always served us in the morning with a smile. The food was excellent and replenished often with very friendly and attentive staff. When we left, we were given breakfast boxes for our early flight, which were delicious and appreciated for the early start! Amaryllis personally saw us into our taxi and gave us some leaving gifts in a Marbella Nido bag, which rounded off our honeymoon perfectly. We didn't want to leave! So, again we had a fabulous time. The service we received was just as good as the previous times we stayed and it's wonderful to see that the staff are still clearly very happy to be working there, which is a testament to the excellent management. We would definitely recommend this hotel to people looking for a luxury getaway and will be back.

Can’t wait to go back

We stayed here for a week in October, this place was amazing. We arrived on a late flight but were welcomed here with open arms & some drinks /light snacks. We were asked if we needed anything to eat after our travels. The staff were brilliant, very friendly & helpful. No ask was a problem for them. We booked some excursions through the hotel & the staff dealing with this were friendly & helpful. Would highly recommend this place! We have booked a return trip for spring which we can’t wait for.

The perfect romantic getaway with personable attentive staff

We visited Marbella Nido in September for our wedding anniversary/ my husband’s Birthday and a break from our 4 children (6-12)! So we were really looking for a relaxed escape and Marbella Nido went above and beyond our expectations! We arrived to delicious welcome drinks on the terrace which set the holiday off to the perfect start then were shown to our room. The whole resort is set on a steep hill with golf buggies to drive you up and down (you can walk if you wish and fancy losing some calories! 😅). We had a room with a pool which was lovely and the facilities were very good; the shower was a rainfall one with great pressure, the beds were super comfy, and the cleaning staff amazing leaving our room clean and tidy every day. The sunsets from every room due to the direction the hotel faces are out of this world and my husband got up early every day to go and watch them😊 Due to being at the hotel to celebrate two celebrations, we had a surprise bottle of Prosecco in our room on arrival and during the week on two occasions we were left a delicious chocolate cake with icing writing wishing us ‘happy….’ And more bottles of Prosecco. We also were hand delivered a leaving bag the evening before we had to go home- I have never experienced such personal touches at a hotel and this and the staff are what elevate this hotel to a whole different level. The hotel has a pool and poolside bars with very attentive staff waiting to serve you cocktails and delicious food - it really was very good. And there is an A’la carte restaurant onsite overlooking the ocean - the food here was stunning - I highly recommend you visit if you can! There is also a cocktail bar which we went to every evening and one evening they had live music from an amazingly talented band - this was a highlight of the trip. We also were serenaded by a musician playing a ukelele at breakfast one morning🥰 The managers are lovely - we regularly were asked by all staff (including cleaners/ drivers/ maintenance staff) how we were and were we having a nice time - and the managers (particularly Achille) were so thoughtful and took a real interest in us - Achille even sharing about his olive grove and his family, which was very special. In terms of places we visited, we highly recommend: - Aqualand water park (and yes couples are not laughed at for going without children - you will be in good company!)😁 Corfu old town - you can get a bus for 3-4 euros for two of you from Aqualand to Corfu rather than paying 30-50 euros! And you can also get the bus back to the hotel. The green buses are for the countryside and the blue buses for the town and are all air conditioned coaches! It’s a beautiful town to walk around and the centre is very upmarket with lots of trendy bars, a wealth of restaurants and expensive shops should you wish to wander for hours amongst the narrow alleyways. We walked 27km one day across corfu to the other side. (We are experienced mountaineers I will add so I wouldn’t recommend this unless you know what you are doing)! But it was a beautiful walk and really gave us a taste of true corfu and it’s beauty and heritage. The only downside to the hotel is the beach as it’s small, by the road so noisy and stony- we visited once- but to be honest, you can always get a bus to another beach like the one we walked to on the other side of the island (halikounas beach - 15km walk) which is golden sand. There’s no no need to hire a car as the public transport is so reasonable and comfortable. So if you fancy a perfect romantic escape to a wonderful hotel, then look no further. You will NOT be disappointed ❤️

Luxury with a friendly atmosphere

MarBella Nido is an exceptional hotel in a beautiful setting. The staff were so helpful and always with a smile and cheery hello. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and with a large balcony and stunning view. The breakfast options were varied and of great quality. In addition to the buffet offering, you can also order from a selection of freshly made dishes, such as omelettes, poached or scrambled egg dishes or waffles and crepes ! Bottles of water are supplied daily, along with a chocolate treat which was a nice touch. The hotels location is on a steep hill, however golf buggies are on hand if you don’t want to walk up the slope and steps to the bedrooms. We will certainly return !
