Fake air conditioning claim

We were not allowed to use air condition in a room opposite of the sun and you have to wake up at 7 in the morning to open the doors to cooldown and the room was filled with mosquitos. When we asked reception to help us with the situation they said that they can't. At the booking.com and their website they claim full air-conditioning.

Centrally located, excellent hotel in Ioannina

The hotel is centrally located, neat and clean, with excellent WiFi. The breakfast was excellent, and we were able to store our luggage for the day. We were particularly interested in the history of the Jewish community in the town prior to WWII, and seeing the beautiful synagogue, which has recently been declared a protected historic site. If one wishes to visit the inside of the synagogue, one must get in touch with Allegra, who is definitely the (only) woman with the key.

Amazing value for money

This is a quite old hotel and affordable solution for business trips. I was amazed by the service, cleanliness and morning buffet variety. The staff was friendly and ready to answer any question. It is centraly situated which is quite convenient if you don't want to use your car, plus it has free car park for the guests with a car. This is a good value for money choice.

Classic Age

In its day it was probably a delight to be at this hotel - you still feel the classic period of its early days in the lobby and reception and the interaction and dress of staff. Location is superior in so many ways. Staff are super courteous and flexible and accommodating. Stay every year with family. I would hope that they will start to update a few things. Air conditioning is awkward and old although room was cool enough. Wifi was not reliable while I was there so we had to make other arrangements for that. Breakfast is wholesome and homemade but it’s tired and unenthusiastic- hopefully some investments to update this hotel as there is much more competition for this classic.

A really nice hotel in the city center

The hotel is in a perfect place in the city center. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory. Breakfast is served in the hotel cafeteria next to a paved road of the market, where you can feel the city vibes.The owner is present during the breakfast time. He is really friendly, welcome the visitors and ask them if they need anything. I will choose it the next time that I will visit Ioannina city.
